{w} Hi Amara, could you firstly tell {www} readers a little bit about you?

Quite simply we are a luxury bespoke wedding gift list service, offering unparalleled access to the world’s most prestigious brands, many of which are exclusive; along with award winning customer services.

{w} What do you love/dislike about your job?

I love all things ‘wedding’ it is an occasion which is always happy and gifting is such a fun & exciting part of it! The only dislike is when a bride & groom don’t get everything on their list, although as part of our service the couple can move the monies around once their list is closed and allocate to different products ie. take the money from only one champagne glass that was bought to finish a set of dinner plates.

{w} How did you get into the wedding industry?

Amara is a successful online retailer and we were receiving requests from customers to hold a list service so we decided to create the Amara bridal registry last year. I oversee the pr here at Amara and was asked to head up the gift list service which I jumped at!

{w} What do you aim to achieve for your clients?

Weddings can be stressful, juggling all the different aspects and so we wanted to keep it quick & easy to use with our team always on hand to help. We thrive on our flexibility, even if a particular brand or product is not on our website we will endeavour to source for them.

{w} What style is your work?

Our ‘style’ is luxury in terms of products and service, although we aim to cover all products from the practical like a rolling pin to the indulgent such as a walnut & nickel Ralph Lauren chess set.

{w} Could you tell us some information about your packages/prices?

Our service is totally free, including delivery and we are always here to give advice and suggestions.

{w} Do you have any tips for couples in selecting their wedding list service?

A wedding list apart from being fun & exciting for the bride & groom is also an opportunity to please your guests with a service that is simple and easy for them to use either online or over the telephone. The majority of guests still want to express their appreciation for being invited and their love to celebrate a momentous occasion; and a list avoids the countless kettles or random gifts that you really don’t want!
