Could you firstly tell a little bit about you?

 

April Look originated in 2011 by two creative souls Vaida and Agne. The idea was to connect two different skills and try ourselves out in a new field. Right now we specialize in men’s accessories. They consist of double sided bow ties, neckties and pocket squares which are made from natural fabrics like linen, cotton and wool. All of our items are sewn by hand, they are not mass produced.

 

What do you love and dislike about your job?

 

We like the ability to receive instant feedback about our brand, the opportunity to contribute to the most important day of a persons life, the variety of tasks that makes each day different and unique and that every order encourage us to reach for higher goals and creativity.

 

How did you get into the wedding industry?

 

April Look items are made from a variety of colours and patterns, that’s probably what attracts our customers the most. When doing individual orders we started to receive emails from grooms who search for exceptional and quality made accessories. It all happened naturally, we started exclusively with bow ties and in 4 years expanded our assortment to suit other needs.

 

Tell us about your typical working day.

 

A cup of coffee and email checking is the morning ritual. After that the day starts and all other plans follow. Each day is very different, on some we work on orders, on others we shoot new items, shop for fabrics and so on. There’s really no time to get bored.

 

How would you describe your style in three words?

 

Minimal, simple and playful.

 

Could you tell us some information about your packages/prices?

 

You can find the product prices in our online shop. Prices start at $17 for a pocket square. We’d like to note that we give discounts for larger orders. They are applied individually for every client depending on the size of the order.

 

 

Do you have any tips for couples in selecting their accessories?

 

Try to choose high quality items, be creative and don’t be afraid to mix colours.
