If you have a love of travel, a bygone era or simply love planes, then this is the place to be today. Draw inspiration from this styled 1920s Aerodrome engagement shoot with real life couple Angela and Renato.
The backdrop was stunning with clear blue skies, vintage styling, lush blooms and pretty stationery.
Thanks so much to Jesús Caballero for sharing these dreamy images, here is what he had to say about the shoot;

This engagement session was prepared in my head long time ago. I had seen some old films, love stories around travels and planes, that I was really obsessed with photographing some day a real couple in love with a nice aircraft as background.

When I was shooting some weddings in Europe, I saw some old and small hangars around the main airports with some old school airplanes and quickly, I decided that my next story must be an engagement there.

I contacted a talented event designer and I explained her my dream. She was absolutely in love with the idea and when a couple contacted, she proposed them to do this session.

Angela and Renato are a real couple in love that they accepted the adventure of this 20s inspiration engagement session. Really simple session, but very visual thanks the true love of this amazing couple.

The session was around an American Flight school vintage Piper J3 Cub aircraft, the famous Piper Cub, that actually is used to instruct civil pilots in Aerodromo Vilar de Luz in Porto, Portugal.

As a real couple, we thought to prepare a real session with the best products of the Porto area for this special moment: Porto wine, chocolates, special vintage plates, and natural countryside color flowers, with the airplane touch on the stationery.

A dress of the season, a few touches that transport us to the 20s and a lot of passion.
Angela and Ronaldo were planning a moment like these for some time now. They love challenges! So they immediately liked the idea. They wanted something different, something that looking back it would bring a smile to their face and memories of a young life full of love!
That’s what this engagement session wants to transmit: a timeless love that can be relived when you pick the photos in your hand. Photos that remind you of this day toasted by the sun. Of holding hands. Of the gentle touches and crossed eyes overflowing with love.
We prepared something simple that would take us back to the 20’s. Oporto wine made its appearance, bottle with about 20 years saved religiously to open in a special occasion and handmade chocolates that the couple loved and made sure to share!
For grooms who would like to keep these memories and treasure them, I can say them: risk! No fears! An airplane, a balloon or simply walking the streets. Any space becomes special when there is love to the mix.
