Chris and Anii AKA Bloom Weddings are wedding photographers based in the East Midlands and are available throughout the UK. With their creative reportage style they capture quirky, fun and classic shots of their lucky couples.

 

{w} Hi guys, could you firstly tell www readers a little bit about you?

 

We’re Bloom Weddings, aka Chris and Anii, a team of two photographers that love photographing weddings! We combine our creative flare and technical ability to capture quirky, fun and natural images throughout your big day. We are based in both the East Midlands and Yorkshire but happily cover throughout the UK.

 

{w} What do you love/dislike about your job?

 

Photographing weddings is so exciting and no two weddings are ever the same! We love how personal each wedding is and feel humbled to share these special moments with the couple. Chris follows the groom and I follow the bride so we both photograph different aspects of the day and meet in the middle to capture the ceremony/ reception. We can’t wait to look at each others images at the end of the day. We don’t like rain however we would quite like to shoot some photos of couples in the rain, apply within!

 

{w} How did you get into photography and into the wedding industry?

 

We started going out whilst studying photography at university, our relationship grew as well as our aspirations. We both started assisting and shooting with other wedding photographers, gaining more experience before deciding to create Bloom Weddings together.

 

{w} What do you aim to achieve for your clients?

 

One of the best feelings as a wedding photographer is to hear back from a couple saying that they love their photos! We aim to give our clients natural, fun & honest images that capture their entire day from start to finish.

 

{w} What style is your work?

 

We call our style “Creative reportage” – We’re all about capturing natural expressions and moments as they happen, as well as some quirky photos with the Bride and Groom. We like to keep our work light and colourful to echo the atmosphere of the day.

 

{w} Could you tell us some information about your packages/prices?

 

We offer two packages, both with an engagement shoot, full day coverage, and a party photo booth in the evening.

{w} Do you have any tips for couples in selecting their wedding photographer?

 

We can’t stress enough how important it is to select the right wedding photographer, so choose wisely! Your photographs are one of the only things you’ll have after your big day so picking the right style and package should be top of your list. Your photographer has also got to be someone that you feel you can get along with throughout the day, that way you’ll feel far more comfortable and get better photos
