{w} Hi guys, could you firstly tell {www} readers a little bit about you?

 

We are Christian and Annie Olliver, husband and wife. We live with our two lovely girls Lilly-May and newborn Orla Rose in a very noisy house in London. We do wedding photography all over the UK and beyond (if we’re lucky!)

 

{w} What do you love/dislike about your job?

 

We love the responsibility and excitement of documenting lovely memories of a wedding day. It’s especially rewarding to capture the unique details of the day that the bride and groom have put so much thought into. In the last few years weddings have become more and more creative and pretty, and it’s fab to be involved with that! It’s also really special getting to spend time with our lovely couples and their families.

 

{w} How did you get into the wedding industry?

 

We started photographing weddings after we shot a family member’s wedding. We absolutely loved it and began to get bookings almost straight away. We haven’t looked back!

 

{w} What do you aim to achieve for your clients?

 

Our main aim is to provide clients with lovely memories of their day, especially shots of family and friends enjoying themselves and to capture the special moments.

{w} What style is your work?

 

Our style is natural, maybe a little quirky and we like to think, beautiful.

 

{w} Could you tell us some information about your packages/prices?

 

We like to keep it simple so we have one basic package which includes:

 

• 2 of us (Christian and I) on the day from bridal preparations, for around 6-7 hours so usually up until the speeches and hopefully a bit after

• An engagement shoot before the day somewhere in London

• A DVD of all the images from the day for you to print yourselves

• An online gallery for you to share images with friends and family

 

This all comes in at £1200. We also offer albums by folio albums, photobooth and polaroids as extras.

 

 

{w} Do you have any tips for couples in selecting their wedding photographer?

 

One of the best bits of advice we would give to couples when selecting a photographer is to go and meet with them before you commit. It’s crucial that you feel comfortable with your photographer as they will be there at some of the most intimate moments of your day. I’ve found it a real advantage being a female photographer for that reason.
