Hold on to your seats, you are going to be blown away by the colourful multicultural wedding of WWW readers Claire and Pawan. Their day is a feast for the eyes, filled to the brim with fun and love.
They were hitched on the 27th July 2021 at Gaynes Park in Essex, where they were married in the orangery before partying the night away in the barns. There really isn’t much not to love about their celebrations, what with their gorgeous pink and orange wedding dresses, vibrant blooms and fun first dance. Wow.
Joseph Kinerman, I can’t thank you enough for sharing these dreamy shots of a very special day indeed.

Summer 3 years ago.
We wanted a chilled out day that celebrated our love and our journey with close family and friends.
Gaynes Park – just gorgeous. It was the first venue we saw and we didn’t bother going anywhere else.

From Lucy Can’t Dance.
We wanted to merge our cultures together so wanted something with colour to reflect Pawan’s Indian heritage and something with a touch of traditional English. Lucy and her team fitted the bill – they can make it all and personalise it just how you want it.
We wanted to write our own vows and make them as personal and intimate as possible. Pawan’s sister wrote a poem about our journey and we chose music throughout that meant something to us, our family and friends. It was a mix of Indian and English.

Venue Stylist – we wanted simple but colourful so chose multi coloured uplights in the evening with a lit-up dance floor and fairy lights above.
Bunty’s Cakes – again we wanted something simple so chose a naked cake.
Violets and Velvet – we went for colours to match our dresses and wanted the flowers to shine not the accompaniments so went for jam jars. We also didn’t want the flowers to detract from the beauty of the venue.

We were originally meant to get married in July 2020 and have had to move our honeymoon to Africa and Mozambique twice… roll on July 2022. We booked ourselves a sneaky additional one this Christmas to the Maldives. After our wedding, we went to Scotland for a week which was gorgeous.
Just do what you want to do and stick to your guns. It’s your day.
