There really isn’t much not to love about WWW readers Naomi and James’ wet wedding. They held their day at Avoncroft Museum in Worcestershire in the summer months and I have to say their day proves rainy weddings can be so much fun. They had an exciting and party vibe throughout, from the big fat smiles to the entertaining miniature railway rides.
They really brought a lot of style to the rustic barn, with pretty fairy lights and yellow blooms galore. I also love the Harry Potter reference with their cake topper, so cute. Last but certainly not least, didn’t Naomi and James look amazing?!
These gorgeous shots are from WWW Wedding Supplier member, J S Coates Wedding Photography and I am so grateful to be sharing them with you today. Hooray.

We got engaged in 2014 in Paris! James got down on one knee on the (wrong) Love Lock Bridge. We figured it was not the official love lock bridge after and then we shared an ice cream together to celebrate.
We wanted a relaxed vibe for the day, so we opted for an afternoon tea for our wedding breakfast as it was less formal but a big party on the night with family and friends.
Around 20K.

We wanted to choose somewhere local to us that was a little bit quirky and different from a traditional wedding venue. We fell in love with our venue straight away. I (Naomi) used to visit Avoncroft museum all the time as a youngster and the grounds are just stunning.
Avoncroft is an open-air museum of historic buildings which just made for an interesting setting for our wedding as guests were able to wander around the museum. The wedding itself was hosted in the Guesten Hall which is a gorgeous barn hall with a rustic vibe. An added bonus was the train that you can have run your guests around part of the grounds.
James’s suit was from Slaters. He based it on David Beckham’s royal wedding outfit.
Naomi – Wed2B Solihull. I chose the dress because it instantly made me feel beautiful. I wanted a simple dress.
I found the bridesmaid dresses in the ASOS sale quite by accident! But yellow is my favourite colour so they were perfect.

We had a civil ceremony and used music from the Piano Brothers. For the reception, a DJ was included in the package.
Jonathan at J S Coates Wedding Photography. Jonathan was absolutely incredible. He was so friendly, made everyone feel at ease and helped the day flow. He captured our day exactly how we wanted it, from start to finish. Would recommend him to anyone and everyone!
We used the Wedding House in Droitwich to dress the venue and for the wedding flowers. We had a yellow and grey theme. We had bunting around the sides of the hall, and fairy lights across the top.
With the help of my bridesmaids‘ we homemade the order of notice! We also had homemade signs for the guestbook, our own Snapchat filter, and an Instagram hashtag. We decorated our own sweet stand with polaroid’s of us two over the years.

We were very lucky for our honeymoon, James’s Dad paid for us to go to Thailand for two weeks. We had two weeks all-inclusive but went exploring on lots of different excursions. It was 2 weeks of pure bliss. We also had booked our own trip to New York for Christmas so had a second honeymoon 4 months later!
That despite the weather we still had the best day, it really didn’t matter. We loved the train ride, and the day was just full of laughter and happiness.
Make time for each other during the day, try to grab some alone time! It honestly goes so quickly so enjoy every second.
