I love nothing more than a couple willing to roll up their sleeves, get on their thinking caps and craft the wedding of their dreams. You DIY couples are going to love the cute and totally customisable favour ideas I have here for you this afternoon.
Itsy Wedding Favours have a brilliant selection of wedding favour items just ready for you to make your mark on. Miniature bottles just perfect for home made sloe gin perhaps? Mini jars waiting to be filled with delicious jam or sweet organza bags for fun mini goodies? All you need is a label and embellishment to finish and totally personalise your crafty favour. Did I also mention that all of these wonderful items are all friendly on the wallet too? Win win.
Hi, I’m Andy, Founder of Itsy Favours. Our products are inexpensive, customisable, and perfect for wedding favours. We allow customers to pick and choose their products and also personalise online via the site.
As a creative, I love visuals, and the wedding industry is full of beautiful imagery and product. The more bespoke, the better in my eyes. I particularly like how we have turned general products into creative pieces for weddings, by using research, imagination and creativity. Our customers love the fact that we inspire them with ideas for their weddings, and provide visions for their wedding tables rather than just showing basic products on our website.
I set up the business as a sideline project when I was getting married myself. I realised that many sites sell wedding favours, but I spotted an opportunity in the industry and spent 18 months collating ideas and producing a lot of research before setting up. With my experience in Web Design, Web Development, Graphic Design, Photography and having the experience setting up businesses before – I took the plunge and have never looked back.
The business is now family run. I deal with the business side, anything creative and the website. My father sends out the orders from the warehouse, and my wife deals with suppliers, and trade accounts.
I do love photography and videography but I simply don’t have time for this any more. So if I was to set up something else, it would be down those lines. But I’ve seen many businesses in the wedding industry that offers great product, great service but lack a great online presence – so I think there are still many opportunities within the wedding industry particularly.
We aim to inspire. We want people to struggle finding wedding favours/ideas, then visit our site…. and instantly recognise something they like and can work for their wedding. Select all the products they want and enjoy their big day.
Creative. Personable. Inexpensive.
Our products can go as low as 18p via our website.
Every wedding is unique, I love that, and our products fit that bill perfectly – because although our customers most often choose the same range, they all use them in different ways to enhance their wedding experience.
I think boho is really popular at the minute, and I don’t think that will ever go away. But with weddings, I feel as though they are that individual you cannot categorise them all. I think the biggest trend of all in the wedding industry is, ‘Make It YOUR Wedding’… I just made up that category : )
We are building an online service where the customer can create personal stickers to accompany their products. They will be able to design stickers, choose fonts, layouts, colours all online and once they are happy – confirm their design. We are also looking at more customisable products including engraved wood, light products and more. The future is very bright for Itsy.
