Oh what a dream! You are going to love this gorgeous wedding inspiration today.
This week’s editorial shoot came to us from the amazing Pierra G Photography, who was behind the concept, direction and photography, along with Russell Kent Nicholls capturing the romantic film. Bringing together a remarkably talented team, they headed overseas to Chateau de Dohem to create these France elopement ideas you see before you.
I fell head over heels for the gorgeous pastel colour scheme featuring dusty blue, lilac and pink as well as a bold burgundy tone. It works so well throughout the styling; with pretty florals, an epic cake and elegant stationery. Just wait until you see the outdoor tablescape, think suspended flowers, chandelier and impeccable table styling. Then there was the stylish attire worn by the bride and groom, wait until you see those boots, such a statement!
Take in all of these stunning wedding ideas and escape with me to the beautiful France countryside…

Chateau enchantee – French elopement wedding styled shoot
I headed to France with a bunch of super talented suppliers, with rain and hail on the forecast it wasn’t looking promising for us, but somehow, we managed to pull together and bring this romantica French dream together!
This shoot was filled with love, passion and French style. The main focus point was the table setting with a beautiful chandelier. Unfortunately, when coming to shoot this set up we only had 5 minutes until the hail came!

I went with a colour scheme of dusty blues, lilacs and pinks – I felt this fitted perfectly with the French backdrop.
Will and Jess, a real-life couple really brought the wow factor to the shoot, their chemistry was amazing to capture and made mine and Russell’s job so easy!

My idea was to keep it really elegant and simple with this shoot – I wanted full attention around the couple and the surroundings – I feel the video itself shows this flowing, elegant and atmospheric wedding.

I decided to go with Chateau de Dohme because I was talking with Russell about finding a location in France which he then told me our friend Leah owner of (Boho and Bloom Prop Hire) had family who owned a château in France, so I immediately got onto the phone to Leah to ask if it would be a possibility to shoot at their château! And well everything then fell into place.
