Welcome to Bradley and Farzana’s gorgeous Hylands Estate wedding held on a beautiful summer’s day. Bradley and Farzana really pulled out all the stops for their glamourous celebrations, with an East meets West celebration incorporating Farzana’s Pakistani heritage. It was all just so romantic and regal.
Farzana chose to wear a beautifully embellished pale pink dress in which she looked stunning, meanwhile, Bradley opted for a pale blue suit with a pale pink tie to coordinate perfectly. Very dapper indeed. I have a feeling you will really love so much about their lively day; the pretty sequin bridesmaid dresses, the dhol player providing live entertainment and the gorgeous painted wedding cake.
Joseph Kinerman thank you so much for sharing with us these totally amazing images. Enjoy it all!

The proposal happened on the 30th July 2019 at the Olympic Park in Stratford. That day had been planned to go into London to celebrate me (Farzana) finishing my masters and finally finishing studying. As we were walking around, the wind started to pick up and it began to rain and Bradley (who had a previous hip injury due to running) was complaining of his hip hurting, so we took cover under a tree.
We began just talking about things and he asked me “Where would I like to get married? Abroad or here?” I said here as all our families are here. He then asked me “Where would you like to get engaged? Abroad or here?” I replied, “Doesn’t matter as long as it happens haha”. He then said whilst I was looking away “How about now?” getting down on one knee. I then said yes and we went back to Westfields in the pouring rain and got burgers at GBK.
I’ve always lived my life thinking I’d become a princess and saw this as my opportunity. I wanted to blend that with my Pakistani heritage and have an East meets West wedding but knowing that the food had to be a big thing as well as the venue.
I chose Hylands for the regal and royal side of the house and the modern style of the Pavilion to match both my and Bradley’s styles. I also knew that I always wanted a dhol player to announce our entrance and have a great party. The colour scheme was originally red and gold (traditional Asian wedding colours) but after finding my dress, it quickly changed to pink and lots of it. It was important to pay respect to family members who couldn’t be there with us.
Hylands House, Chelmsford.

Farzana – Bidaai London. Long pink embroidered dress with matching scarf. It was important that it was an Asian wedding dress. However, I always thought I would choose the traditional red and gold, however, when I tried the light pink on, I knew it was the one.
Bradley – Moss Bros 3 piece pale blue suit with a zebra lining with brown shoes and matching pink socks and tie. Bradley always wanted something unique that didn’t follow traditional wedding suit trends so went for a pale blue suit to compliment my pink dress. He added in a paisley patterned off white shirt to complete the unique suit.
The ceremony was a traditional UK registry. I had 3 bridesmaids that walked ahead with my brother walking me down the aisle. There was a reading from Winnie the Pooh by my friend.
Music during the ceremony – Eva Cassidy- time after time for entrance and the Wannadies – You and Me when we exited.
Canapes – Orchestral music as well as Bollywood ballads.Reception – RnB mix as well as Bhangra music.

Flowers: Pink and white themed bouquets. Pink orchids and single stemmed roses alternated on the tables. Ceremony pew ends, baby’s breath and dried lavender (lavender was my nan’s favourite flower and it was important to pay homage to her).
Cake: Hand-painted floral themed 3 tiered cake with Victoria sponge, coconut and pineapple and chocolate.
Colours: pink, cream and grey.
DIY – Photo booth props, photo booth hoop, sweet crate, table numbers that told a love story between me and Bradley, welcome sign, seating plan.

Due to Covid we have not booked a honeymoon yet. We did go on a “mini-moon” to London for a few days and explored which was lovely and relaxing. We’re a very chilled couple so were very happy exploring and not having too much of a plan.
To not stress about the little things, everything will fall into place. Try and enjoy the day and not let the attitudes of others spoil your day.
