We’re all about bringing you the coolest, most fashion forward and inspirational ideas here at WWW, of course along with stories with heart and advice to make wedding planning a breeze too. But today it’s safe to say we are bringing you all the style with these uber cool indie wedding ideas captured by Kat Antos-Lewis Photography, who also curated the shoot together with Sugarlily Cakery. This fantastic editorial is bringing all the latest trends to the forefront; pampas grass, awesome outfits and eco friendly credentials to name a few. I really love that they utilised the vibe of the venue Loddon Brewery by adding nods to beer in the details and décor.
If you are still musing over your wedding style then let the indie touches here steal your heart. I just adore everything from the tassel bridal jacket to the hair and make up look, delicate stationery, amazing florals and seriously scrumptious cake creations. There was rustic décor throughout, not to mention an awesome neon sign. There is just too much amazingness to cover it all, so let me leave you with the spectacular images.

We focused this shoot on brides who might be price conscious and want to be eco-friendly, yet still have a beautiful wedding with a touch of glam. We carefully picked suppliers who could work with that brief in mind, to show that weddings don’t have to literally cost the earth to be an amazing day.

The venue Loddon Brewery is a family run renovated old barn, which is in the middle of fields and glorious countryside.
Champagne is the go-to drink to celebrate any special occasion, but we were keen to explore the rise in popularity of beers, ales, and craft lagers. The family have maintained most of the barn’s original features and kept the brewing barrels in a vintage oak look to match the rest of the old beams and wooden features in the barn. This created the perfect backdrop for a rustic and vintage shoot with beautiful earthy and gold tones to bring it to life.

The wedding dress and jacket were both bargain buys from ASOS and Missguided. The groom’s suit was a beautiful tweed 3 piece which can be hired, it complemented the bride’s dress perfectly. We went for a real smoky, golden make up and nude lips for the bride letting the eyes do all the talking. We decided to keep the bride’s hair down for a more relaxed look. The beautiful lace veil, bespoke jewellery, and shoes brought the glamour we needed to balance all the early tones in the venue.

Our florist used lots of dried and locally sourced foliage, even foraging most of it. Pampas grass, dried Thistles and Poppy heads were incorporated in the hand tied bouquet, the tall standing feature next to the ceremony and the table centre pedestal.

We wanted to keep décor quite rustic with natural tones and use as much recycled and vintage props as possible. We also made the most of being in a brewery and used beer barrels, beer bottles and corks in our decoration and props.

Our stationery was recyclable, the props were vintage, recycled, and made in the UK. The ribbons were handmade silks, and even the cake topper was handmade and naturally dyed. The desserts were all vegan and garnished with simple decoration.
