When this little beauty first landed into our wedding inbox, I couldn’t quite believe that it was an inspiration shoot and not a celebration from this gorgeously loved-up couple. It was only when I thought ‘hang on a dang minute, where are the guests…?’ did I clock that this was a beautifully staged shoot to showcase some of the industry’s most fabulous talent and creativity instead.
So where to start with these images? Well firstly, hats-off to Jett Walker Photography who had me hook-line and sinker into this couple’s romance by perfectly capturing the most exquisite details. The contrast between the bride’s brilliant white dress and groom’s black dinner jacket is softened by the golds, greenery and blush in the bouquet and the warm candle light surrounding the stone steps. I love the writing on the steps, what a lovely touch and can we just take a moment just to let our jaws drop over the dress? I mean wow. I am a big fan of the drama and statement that comes with plain gowns and this has got to be one of my absolute favourites with those tiny buttons on the front and back. The cool, luxurious marble is warmed up by those deep golds and coupled with the setting and the bride’s fabulous headpiece, there is certainly a regal feel to this wonderful styling.
Enjoy – I hope you love this as much as I do!

ABOUT THE SHOOT | The inspiration for this shoot was the idea of having an intimate “destination” feeling wedding in your own city. We wanted it to feel European with a touch of modern and simplicity. With a classic black and white colour palette we used green and golden accents and played up the marble in the venue with accents of marble in the paper suite and the cake.
