Welcome to the gorgeous North Yorkshire barn wedding of Hannah and Mat. They were hitched at Deepdale Farm Weddings on a hot summer’s day, complete with overnight glamping. Sounds pretty perfect right? That’s because it totally was.
With the summer wedding flowers and fun live entertainment, not to mention the stylish outfits and pretty flower cake; their whole day was beautiful. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a smilier couple, who looked so happy to be celebrating with their loved ones post-covid.
Photography34, I can’t thank you enough for sharing these magical images of such a special day in North Yorkshire.

At the very end of our holiday in Lake Como Mat took me on a very sweaty hike where he popped the question at a beautiful viewpoint mid-sandwich. We then hiked back to Bellagio where we swam in the lake followed by an incredible meal. He did good!
A relaxed, rustic, go-with-the-flow party with all of our friends and family. We wanted to put our own touch on things by doing a DIY wedding.
Most people stayed in the glamping tents which created a really magical festival vibe. We all had bacon butties and lay in the sun in the morning to ease the hangovers!

Bride’s gown – Anna Kara Jude gown from Marrime Bridal Wear (Jesmond, Newcastle).
I tried on many dresses but as soon I tried on the Jude I knew it was perfect for our day. It was glamorous at the same time as being bohemian and comfortable. The sleeve detail was stunning and I paired it with a plain chapel-length veil.
Groom’s suit – Michelsberg Tailoring.
Mat highly recommends his experience with this amazing tailor. Located in the beautiful Leeds grand arcade he drank whisky whilst being measured up and choosing which materials his suit would be made of. Mat chose a wool blend to match the rustic setting but did not anticipate the freak 30-degree weather on the day!

We waited a few months until Covid restrictions eased then went on an adventure-packed week in Sri Lanka followed by a very relaxing, unwind in the Maldives!
Being walked down the aisle by my brother facing my husband-to-be and all of our friends and family was incredibly emotional.
The biggest party in sizzling heat after years of being apart from loved ones was indescribable.
Have a spare bit of money for the weeks leading up to the wedding when inevitably something goes wrong and you need to pay for a few extras.
Ultimately don’t stress about the small bits, no one notices! It’s your party, enjoy it!

Oh wow, what a fantastic day.
Hannah and Mat, thank you both so much for sharing your epic North Yorkshire barn wedding with us.
