With weddings being reduced and more and more couples eloping, I wanted to create something that a couple could create themselves, a sought of get up and go style. So many couples are stressing understandably but sometimes I think it’s best just to get up and go and get married.

Once you have done the legal part of your wedding at the registry office, there is nothing stopping you from hiring a celebrant and doing an intimate day with just the two of you. Here I wanted to show that you can do this. Have your celebrant meet you both at the beach to exchange personal vows and then head over to a beautiful cozy area, where it’s just the two of you reflecting on what’s just happened. Enjoying the surroundings, a grazing platter and a few cakes (this way you can cut it and send some to relatives), bubbles and candles and then once you have taken it all in, jump onto you bike or car and drive, just drive (obviously don’t forget to take your items home first).
