Peach Yellow & Lilac Wedding Ideas

Inspired by the romance and allure of the enchanted gardens from stories like Sleeping Beauty, Thumbelina, and Rapunzel, the idea for this shoot was to provide a bright and modern take on the classic fairytale motif.

We chose a springtime palette of peachy apricot, royal purple, and sunny yellow, then added touches of soft pink and blue to round out the more vibrant colours.

The design aesthetic is both joyful and deeply romantic, delicate and regal, with just the hint of drama that you’d expect to see in any good fairytale.

With its beautiful, tall windows spilling natural light into the space, the intimate studio was the perfect backdrop for the flower-forward design details, including the floral meadow tablescape and the hanging carnation wall, as well as the show-stopping garden ladder design.

The incredible vintage lighting provided a beautiful touch of fanciful, elegant, old-world glamour, and gave an elevated, softly romantic glow to the design.

The custom tulle gown, sparkling jewelry and whimsical tiara, and classic hair and makeup turned the bride into a captivating, ethereal princess, balanced perfectly against the groom’s tailored, traditional three-piece suit in modern green and brown hues.

The romantic, joyful, and springlike shape and feel of the design was complemented by the architectural lines of the cake, the vibrancy of the stationery, and the soft drapery of the linens and tableware elements.

Each sumptuous detail was woven together to create the magical, effervescent feeling of a modern, storybook dream come to life.
