Pembroke Lodge Wedding Trilion Productions

Welcome to the beautiful Pembroke Lodge wedding in London of Laura-Beth and Richard. They chose to hold their micro wedding on the 16th April 2021 after two wedding date changes already due to the COVID-19 restrictions. With 15 guests surrounding them, they had a romantic first look, an intimate ceremony and outdoor reception all in the beautiful sunshine.

Laura-Beth looked stunning, she changed her original wedding dress after she discovered she was pregnant and opted for a short lace number teamed with heels. Richard meanwhile was suited and booted in a navy suit with grey waistcoat and polka dot accessories, very dapper indeed. Their wedding style was focused on botanicals and wildflowers which looked ever so lovely too.

Trilion Productions thank you so much for sharing these joy-filled images with us.

The Proposal

On a boat in Greece on my birthday. He gave me a sapphire and diamond engagement ring as it was my birthstone, and I love sapphires!

The Vision

The vision changed a lot due to the pandemic and us having to have a 15 person wedding but we wanted a wildflower look based around the protea with navy and gold styling. We loved the final look of the wedding.

Your Outfits

Rich’s outfit was a 3 piece suit from Ted Baker. I actually had to change my dress due to us finding out we were having a baby so although my initial dress was from a wedding boutique, I ended up ordering a midi wedding dress from Asos (about a month before the wedding during lockdown) that I felt more comfortable in with my bump and I loved it.

The Ceremony & Music

We had 15 people at the ceremony and due to coronavirus restrictions, we weren’t allowed a ‘grand’ entrance so Rich and I walked down the aisle together to say our vows. After initially finding it strange when we found out about it, it was actually really nice, particularly to have our interview with the register together and settle the nerves! We had an orchestral version of Christina Perri, A Thousand Years.

Your Photographer & Filmmaker

Trilion Productions photographed and filmed our wedding. Initially, I planned on having a photographer only but as they offered a photography and videography package, I couldn’t say no, and the photos and film are absolutely amazing!

The Styling & Decor

Everything was ordered during lockdown. The cake was from Cutter & Squidge and the decorations were by us. We ordered quite a lot from Ikea to style ourselves. Our flowers were from the Flower Yard in Putney and we created a sign and had it printed at Vista Print. We then added some greenery for emphasis and put it on an easel.

The Honeymoon

We went to Cornwall and stayed in a cottage for our honeymoon as we weren’t able to travel with coronavirus restrictions, but we had a fantastic time – England delivered the sun and we enjoyed the beaches and sites it had to offer!

Memorable Moments

I had been worried about my Dad not getting to officially give me away, but we had a lovely moment when I arrived at the venue and he walked me to meet Richard – it was really special. After so much worry about the wedding being able to go ahead, this being our third wedding date and the fact we knew the reception had to be outside (We had had snow 6 days before!) we knew we were risking it!

The whole day was just so perfect, it was so warm and sunny, everything went even better than planned. To have our family together after everything and witness us get married was so special – we will never forget it.

Advice For Other Couples

I think particularly getting married during/after the pandemic we realised us getting married was more important than the big wedding! Make sure you stay true to you and don’t get lead by other people’s opinions or by what they say you should be doing. It’s your day, so make sure you have it your way regardless of tradition etc.
