I am thrilled to be sharing these rainbow wedding ideas in the forest featuring WWW Supplier Love members Your Story Events (planning and concept) and Berry and Brie (caterer). Hooray!
This editorial shoot had me hook line and sinker, at first sight. I adore a colourful wedding and these ideas are sure to ignite the imaginations of you colour lovers.
Shot by Holly Smith are a stunning couple dressed in on-trend attire, a spectacular rainbow flower arch and a colour pop table set up in the woods. From the stunning styling to the delicious grazing tables, floral cake and colourful stationery you are going to love it all. Trust me.

My vision for the ‘over the rainbow’ shoot was to create an inspiring piece full of colour, positivity and hope.
I felt that a natural, outdoor setting would help reflect my vision, so finding the right spot was important. I chose Longton Wood, in Kent, not only for its beauty but also its versatility – the tall trees framed stunning shots, whilst the dark woodland backdrop offered a contrast in colour, really making the brighter colours pop.

Over the last year, the rainbow has been a key symbol of hope, so it felt natural to use this as inspiration for couples going forward into summer 2021.
The flowers by House of Dandelions were bright and beautiful, encompassing all the colours of the rainbow. A rainbow-inspired archway was my key feature and created a fantastic focal point for the shoot.
I chose a cheerful shade of yellow as my base colour for the tablescape, which really allowed the florals to stand out. I wanted to keep the colours consistent in the shoot, so had bright handcrafted sugar flowers on the cake from The Artisan Cake Kitchen and bright invitations from Jenna Claire Stationery to show couples how beautiful bright and bold can be.

The menus we went for muted pastel tones of the key colours in order to allow the flowers to stand out and elegant gold and glass tableware added a touch of luxury to the tablescape.
I used two gorgeous dresses, from Kelsey Rose, in different styles. The first, a romantic, boho style with delicate lace trim on the bodice and sleeves. The second, a timeless, clean A-line shorter style. Both dresses looked amazing paired with bright Harriet Wilde Shoes, along with hair and make up styled by Suzanne Duesk.
We got hit with the rain while shooting, but you can’t have rainbows without the rain! The team and I really enjoyed putting this bright, rainbow inspired piece together and hope you enjoy looking at it as much as we did creating it.
