It’s such a delight to be sharing Christina and Calum’s Prince Albert, Camden wedding in London today. Their day was filled with joy, as well as having a cosy and comfortable atmosphere.
They held their entire day at the pub venue, but firstly they had a meaningful first look outside, which was such a sweet moment. I also loved the two confetti opportunities, the outfit change (hello gorgeous outfits!), and the darling portraits in the city streets.
Keep your eyes peeled for colourful blooms, a pretty cake and the sweetest nod to their two cats. Oh so lovely!
Thanks ever so much to Heather Sham Photography for sharing with us these wonderfully happy captures.

Calum proposed in May 2023 during a trip to Christina’s hometown in Virginia. He surprised her with a detour to Huntley Meadows Park and popped the question midway through their walk.
Calum had planned for months with Christina’s closest friends to pull it off, and they celebrated with friends and family afterwards with a rooftop engagement party!

We wanted our wedding to be a place where everyone could relax, mingle, eat, drink, dance, and have a good time. Our guests’ priority was #1 for us as we had people coming from all corners of the world (China, Australia, US) and we wanted to make sure they were comfortable. This was also many of our friends and family’s first time in London, so above all we wanted to throw an epic party!
The overall atmosphere of the wedding was more important to us than the aesthetics, but we wanted things to be colourful with a focus on pastels.

We did a ton of research online ahead of time and contacted several venues, but we only ended up touring one of them – the Prince Albert in Camden, London. As soon as we stepped in, we felt instantly welcomed and knew this was the venue for us. The pub was already so charming that we knew we could keep the décor to a minimum, and lean into the rustic, classic English pub vibe.
Our coordinator Lauren was so lovely and helpful throughout the process, she guided us along every step of the way and made sure everything on the day-of ran smoothly!

Our ceremony took place on the ground floor of the Prince Albert. We had a lovely officiant named Rebecca who did such a fantastic job and guided us through the ceremony with ease.
For music, we had the amazing duo Tony and Jamie from WE r DJS who kept the dance floor running all night long. They also MC’d our first dance and did a great job directing the guests!

I had two dresses, the first was from Wed2B and I wore it during the first look, ceremony, and welcome drinks. I wanted to feel like a princess and have my moment and this dress did just that.
Partway through dinner, I changed into my second dress from Reformation. It was a beautiful silk dress that allowed me to move about freely and dance the night away. My shoes were from Freya Rose – I had been coveting these for months and decided to treat myself for the wedding. I love the pearl heel!
Calum’s suit was custom-made by Zebel. They were fantastic throughout the whole journey and every detail down to the colour of the stitching was picked out by Calum. He chose a tan suit to keep things light and summery, and baby blue accents to match the pastel vibe.

The overall theme was pastel wildflowers – we were in luck as one of the ready-to-wear wedding ranges at Grace & Thorn had exactly what we were looking for. Yue at Lil Moon Bakery made the most delicious two-tiered cake for us and decorated it with some extra flowers we ordered. It came out just as we’d pictured!
We knew we wanted to include our cats, Stella and Finn, in the wedding some how. Sarah at Take the Biscuit made the most adorable iced biscuits in their image and we provided these to our guests as wedding favours for them to take home (or eat on the spot, as most people did!).

Our photographer Heather Sham was the very first vendor we booked – we absolutely fell in love with her photos and knew we had to try and get her at all costs for our wedding! We were in luck as she was available for our date, and the rest is history. She completely captured the joy of our wedding through her beautiful photos and she was so wonderful to work with. Heather delivered a phenomenal wedding album for us that we will always cherish – she captured all the small moments that made up our big day.
Our videographer was Hanh Sy, and although we didn’t meet her in person until the day of the wedding, when she turned up it felt like we were reuniting with an old friend. We chose Hanh because we loved the way she told other couples’ stories, and we were so happy with the wedding film she created for us. It was romantic without being overly cheesy, and it flowed so well! Reliving the day through video was so special to us, and the wedding film is something we’ll rewatch in years to come.
Both Heather and Hanh are such warm, friendly, and talented people – we were so lucky to have them both capture our wedding.

After the wedding, we jetted off to Bali for our honeymoon. It was our first time there, and we treated ourselves with a stay at a beautiful villa complete with our own private pool. It was just the relaxing trip we needed!

One of our favourite moments was our first dance. We chose Iron & Wine’s cover of Time After Time for our first dance song. Although both of us are extremely uncoordinated and not at all dancers, it was a wonderful, intimate moment in an otherwise quite busy day. Our DJs also coordinated a confetti through mid-dance – it was magical!
Also, I wanted to shout out our incredible makeup artist Adie Brooks. It was a windy day and even though our getting ready location was only a four-minute walk to the venue, Adie insisted that she drive me to the venue to keep my hair and makeup looking perfect!

Try to go into your wedding day with a positive attitude! Whatever happens, will happen, and you can’t plan for everything – things will go wrong but in the end, these are all the small moments. Enjoy the day and spend time with your loved ones.

Does it get any more beautiful!?
