Today we are being whisked away by Alexandra and Christian with their utterly beautiful Santorini wedding in Greece held on the 30th September 2019. It really was a dream; with a fusion of Alexandra and Christian’s cultures, the most incredible flower arrangements and of course the breathtaking views across the sea. Oh my!
Let’s start with the fashion shall we? Alexandra looked incredible in a tulle gown by Muse by Berta and Christian donned a dapper tuxedo by De Fursac. Didn’t they both look gorgeous? There were also some really lovely touches added to their venue Santorini Gem; with a flower arch backdrop to their ceremony, a pampas grass lined aisle, floral cake creation and fireworks to end the spectacular celebrations.
These dreamy images and film have been sent to us by Phosart Photography Cinematography, thank you so much for sharing guys.

In 2017 for our 5th year anniversary, on Pont de l’Alma when the Tour Eiffel was sparkling at midnight.

We have celebrated our 6 years together this Fall and 1 year since the proposal on the same day. The nickname of Alexandra, the future bride, is Andra and the nickname of Christian, the future groom, is Chris. We live together in Nanterre, a suburb of Paris city.
Andra: I was born in Bucarest, Romania and am living in France for 10 years, time flies so fast. I came here for my Master degree and now I am working as a Marketing Project Manager for an American cosmetic luxury brand.
Chris: I was born in Bruxelles, Belgium and lived there since the age of 5. I have then moved to Kinshasa for 4 years, the capital of the Democratic Republic Congo. My home since the age of 9 is Paris, France. I am working as a Network Engineer for a French service provider.
We have French citizenship and feel like home here, even though we haven’t forgot our origins. We love to travel, to dance, to enjoy good food, to go shopping and to enjoy time with friends.
We have chosen Santorini as our wedding destination because of the stunning landscapes, the romantic vibes and the magnificent light. And of course because this island is a great holiday destination for us and our guests.

Easiest part of wedding planning: photo shoot.
Hardest part of wedding planning: flowers, food and catering.
It is harder to plan a wedding when the couples are from different faiths/culture etc, but we have an open minded culture, so not for us.

Enjoy your day and do not listen negative people.

We have no words to describe how much in love we are with this destination wedding we are sharing today with you! Marvellous Wedding Santorini just worked their magic and Alexandra and Christian’s wedding was an unforgettable event. And of course Phosart team was there to capture all the amazing moments of the couple. One of our favourite moments was when the bride walked through a pampas-made aisle during the famous Santorini sunset!
And yes, the couple decided to have a first look through the graphic alleys of Oia village! The cute couple got married at Santorini Gem, a beautiful venue in Santorini, overlooking the deep blue sea and the breathtaking view of the caldera.
Their enthusiasm, happiness and calmness, along with that stunning arch idea, decorated by Betty Flowers, are something that you can see through their wedding photos! Any wedding photographer and wedding videographer would be lucky to work with such a loving couple, as Alexandra and Christian is, for their destination wedding in the most beautiful Greek island, Santorini!
