Camila and Christopher’s Springhead Trust wedding in Dorset really was the dream. An outdoor garden ceremony, with gorgeous decor dotted around the grounds. Think pampas grass, rich burgundy hues and elegant signs.
Camila made her own stunning wedding gown and looked incredible with her opulent flower crown and bouquet. Christopher was dapper in a tuxedo and statement buttonhole flowers. Then there are all of the lovely touches such as the polaroid station, the peacock chairs and candles everywhere… wow!
Thanks so much to Alexandra Szigeti for sharing these dreamy images with us, such a treat.

Christopher proposed on Christmas eve. It was very cold but he insisted to we have an evening walk by the river in Kingston Upon Thames. I was not keen but went along.
We walked to the place we had our first kiss and he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife! It was very unexpected and romantic. I started to cry.

We wanted that this day was special and unique, we wanted everyone feel very comfortable and happy.

Our budget was not high. I decided to save money by making a lot of DIY pieces and also doing my own flowers with the help of my in-law family and my grandma. I am a fashion designer and also saved money by designing and making my own dress.

Springhead Trust is a stunning country location. I don’t think I could have found a better venue for us.
All of my guests were so happy with such a unique venue. The ceremony location overlooks a lake and is under a stone gondola. We also liked that we could set up for the wedding the day before.

Christopher’s suit is from Moss Bros.
I have my own clothing company and have made a few wedding dresses in the past. I decided to make my own as I could get the exact look and design that I wanted.
Earrings were from my grandma.

The outside ceremony was overlooking the lake. We had acoustic guitar and saxophone music that was a gift from a family member. The ceremony was intimate and meaningful.

Alex was amazing. She captured the emotions of our day so well. She also has an arty creative style.

The colour palette was burgundy/beige/ivory/black/dark green and rose. I didn’t have a set theme and just followed my instinct of what I like. It resulted in an eclectic look.
I made lots of the décor myself with help from my 69-year-old grandma. This included dried flower bottle candle holders and a hand-painted fabric sign for the marquee. I also made my stationery and other signage.
We had two cakes from a local coffee shop where we live. One was gluten free.
With the help and guidance of Ronnie Colbie myself and my grandma made all of the flower arrangements the day before the wedding. I ordered the flowers wholesale from David Salter Flowers.
I also made my own bouquets, floral hoops, buttonholes, and floral crowns. These were made using dried flowers that I bought at the Covent Garden flower market in London. Because they were dried I could make them ahead of time.
I also hired vintage props and furniture from Borrow The Moon. These pieces made all the difference and helped bring the styling together on the day.

We had a mini-moon in the UK. Two days in Bath.

One of the best parts of our day were the speeches over dinner. They were so meaningful and it was very emotional.
My mom and dad could not attend due to travel restrictions. My best friend gave me a charm with a photo of them inside which was so special.
Hearing our guests the next day saying what an amazing time they had made all the hard work worthwhile.

Do not stress wedding planning should be fun.
Everything will be ok on the day. Even if some of the small details are not perfect you won’t care because you will be having the best day of your life!

Goodness, so beautiful. Camila and Christopher thank you ever so much for sharing your Springhead Trust wedding with us.
