I’m delighted to share this lovely sunken garden wedding of Oli and Meaghan at Cannizaro House, captured by Grace Pham Photography.

The couple

Oli and Meaghan are just awesome people. They met each other on a two-week summer acting course, where the first class activity was to hold eye contact for five minutes straight! It must have been love at first sight. To the groom, Meaghan is inspiring, kind, and beautiful. The bride described Oli as passionate, dedicated, and eccentric.

Please tell us a little bit about the day and how it went

Oli and Meaghan’s enchanting garden wedding embodied a spirit of joy and celebration that touched everyone with their love. The ceremony was held in the sunken garden at Cannizaro House, the most romantic setting for their vows. Their words made us smile and cry. Oli and Meaghan did a wonderful job bringing it all together, creating a truly memorable day that was relaxed, full of emotion, and so much fun.

Do tell us a little bit about yourself

I adore weddings and recently married my partner of 12 years! I am passionate about photography, and nothing captures beauty, honesty, and joy quite like a couple on their wedding day. I’ve been creating pictures for as long as I can remember, and I’m grateful every day that I can do what I love.

How would you describe your photography style?

As a documentary photographer I capture the moments as they unfold, the smiles, emotional tears and love. I am captivated by the joys and sentiments of the bride and groom on their wedding day.  A day which should speak of love and captured candidly, without intrusion.

What did you love about the day?

It is so beautiful to see two young people madly in love with each other. The garden setting where they got married was just perfect. Oli and Meaghan were a joy to photograph, and it was a real honour to be part of their special day.

Quotes from the couple:

“We chose the sunken garden during a cycle ride one Sunday. I had never seen Cannizaro House before, and Oli wanted to show it to me as a possible wedding location (I don’t think we were engaged yet, haha!). He grew up nearby and always loved playing in the park. The minute I looked at the sunken garden, we both knew that was what we wanted.”

“The most memorable part of our wedding day was probably looking at our family and friends assembled at the end of the ceremony. I didn’t expect sharing our love would be such a lovely, inclusive, and yet intimate experience. I felt closer to everyone in that moment.”

“Grace, thank you so much for the absolutely stunning photos. We couldn’t have been happier to have you as such an integral part of our day. We also wanted to say a huge thank you for the video clips of the dances! You really thought of everything. Thank you a million times over!”
