Wedding ideas like this set of images today, are created with pushing wedding trends and boundaries in mind, to help to inspire couples who are planning their own celebrations. With Ultra Violet being the Pantone colour of the year, purples and lilacs are making a come back and I have to say I am just loving the colour palette used today. Purple tones were used against blues and pinks in out of this world floral arrangements. I mean just check out the striking moon gate wedding backdrop and the meadow style floor arrangement, wow!
Alongside flowers by The Flower Girls, I just love the luxe gold leaf and velvet ribbon adorned cake, the stylish dresses, flawless hair and make up and delicate watercolour stationery. Which was all shot so beautifully by Captured by Katrina at the gorgeous Lapstone Barn. Enjoy it all lovely ones.
This new and exclusive Cotswold wedding venue is an 18th century barn, situated in open glorious countryside. With it offering lots of idyllic features a courtyard gardens and in a stunning setting.
The shoot was designed to showcase the venues features, by using the moon gate decorated by florist The Flower Girls, this gave the shoot instant floral impact. Using purples and peachy tones the shoot reflects current trends in floral design. Along with meadow style flowers, floral jewellery and a wired bouquet.

The Pretty Cake Company supplied the shoot with a 3 tier cake washed with purple and decorated with gold leaf, fresh flowers and velvet ribbon by Little Acorn Silks.
The make up and hair were kept simple and along with dresses that were beautifully simple and streamlined by E&W Couture.

Photographer Katrina Bartlam kept the whole shoot light and fresh with her perfect approach to capturing images.
