We’re getting lost in these exquisite images by Sara Beaumont today as we journey back to Spring and all of the prettiness it has to offer. Spring couples, be sure to get inspired and excited by the magical bluebell woodland, whimsical bridal attire and divine styling.
Not to mention the loveliest cocktails you ever laid eyes on and florals to end all florals. Peonies took centre stage in this editorial along with foraged greenery and what a masterpiece they were. Nestled amongst the flowers were vibrant stationery, a secret tipi and show stopping cake… wow.
“A visit to Homme House hidden away in picturesque Herefordshire captured the imagination and lead to the vision for this colourful woodland styled photoshoot. Homme House is a family run country house in rural Much Marcle, set in beautiful gardens and surrounded by 180 acres of parkland and woodland.
Arriving at the historic house, we were transported to a world of secret gardens and fairytale woodlands.
This collaboration between Sara Beaumont Photography and Jenny Fleur brought together a team of talented Wedding suppliers from across the three counties; each bringing their unique style and ideas to the theme.
The bold and vibrant palette was inspired by the abundance of spring, bursting into life with colour. Vivid blooms were flourishing in the gardens and the late-spring sunshine dappled through the leaves in the bluebell woodlands creating a free spirited, bohemian vibe with a whisper of a Midsummer nights dream.
Late spring/early summer blooms adorned the woodland and created the fearless bouquet which was bursting with colour and scent from peonies, cornflowers and delphiniums set amongst foliage foraged from the grounds at Homme. Hand torn raw silk ribbons adorned the bouquet as well as the garland table plan hanging in the huge pine tree. The hand made invitations used rich bright colours and raw hand applied copper foil to embody the joy of spring.
Our wedding cake had delicate hand made sugar flowers that accentuated the florals with its modern gold leaf elements. With an elongated middle tier it stood majestic on the lawn and lead us down to the tipi nestled amongst the trees. The tipi provided a light and airy resting place for our bride who wore a two piece outfit of lace and tulle. Her hair was tousled into a understated style, punctuated with bright flowers; which complimented the earth tones and simple elegance of her makeup. She read from a hand bound silk vow book as she sat quietly amongst the bluebells.
We also created two delicious cocktails to compliment our theme as we couldn’t imagine anything better than sipping drinks made from produce grown just across the fields in Hereford.”
