Wowee! I think you’re just going to love the wedding inspiration we have for you today. Set at a beautiful barn in Texas, there is a gorgeous ceremony set up, table settings and a swoonsome outdoor seating area to take in. I’m just loving the lanterns hanging from the trees around the vintage furniture, just imagine how magical it would look later on in the evening too.
As the shoot is inspired by the old saying “Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue“, expect to see gorgeous azures and navy as well as a brilliant combination of modern and vintage touches. I think it’s just such a wonderful tradition and love hearing how different couples have incorporated it into their wedding.
Aside from the bride’s beautiful dress, the outfits are also blue of course, with the bridesmaids in full length royal blue numbers and the groom in a mismatched navy and cobalt suit. There really is so much to inspire here, whether you want subtle touches of “Something old…” or to go all out with the theme.
The wonderful images today are courtesy of Si Creative Photography. Thank you ever so much Tran for letting us share this shoot with our readers. Enjoy everyone!

This wedding shoot was inspired by something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. A barn wedding at The White Sparrow in Quinlan Texas. About an hour drive, east of Dallas Fort Worth. The perfect venue for couples searching for bright, open and airy spaces. A venue of pure elegance and grace, with a veil of southern charm.
The table for this wedding was adorned with all the ‘somethings’ combined. From white and blue china to rustic antiquated furnishings and decorative pieces. With a garland of cotton sprigs running across the table, creating an organic feel, married with an abundance of nature’s greenery.
The bride wears a beautiful gown from C’est Toi Bridal Atelier. A silhouette fitting bohemian inspired dress, coupled with a long lace edged veil that whispers modern romance and all things love, when it flutters in the wind.
In keeping with the old English saying – Something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. A vision by Heather Benge and styled by Love Birds Vintage, Allyson Whitney Designs, Party Crush Studios and a team of wedding vendors. All talented in their specialized craft, and who always execute visions to a perfect palette. Amazing work, displaying how these four combinations can compliment each other greatly in such an organic display.
