Detailed Montpelier Pave Diamond Engagement Ring
We love this beautiful detailed merchandized shot by Montpelier Diamond Engagement Ring | Daniel Christopher Jewellery of a striking Oval diamond ring with a pave diamond band that runs perpendicular to the main stone. It’s an unusual design, and beautifully captured with the pave diamonds facing us.
The Rings
Photo by Nabis Photographers /Chiara Ridolfi – I was in Tuscany, waiting for an outdoor ceremony. I thought to shoot the wedding rings in a natural setting, combining the wedding details with the surrounding nature, like leaves.
Perfect Fit
Photo by Damion Mower Photography – This photo was taken on the wedding gift table at Hannah and Ben’s beautiful wedding at Ashdown Park Hotel.
The bokeh effect comes from a small tea light lantern, and the ornamental gems on the table set the ring off perfectly.
Kate Platinum Engagement Ring
Kate 4 Claw Solitaire Engagement Ring | Daniel Christopher Jewellery. A modern twist on a classic four-claw solitaire diamond engagement ring, this ‘Kate’ design in platinum includes a stunning floral colletand a tapered top.
Dreamy meets Decadence
Photo by Jasmin & Matt Photography / Jasmin Pichlyk – Kristen and Michael’s opulent wedding and engagement rings are complemented by the dreamy, ephemeral, and soft beauty of her bouquet, which consists of roses and baby’s breath. This photo was taken at Azul Fives in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
A Splash of Love
Photo by Martelle Photography / Martin – Taken at Crewe Hall near Stoke (although you cannot tell!). We always try to get creative with rings—it’s a bit of a passion for us. Currently, we are exploring the elements to see what we can do. This one represents water.
La Petit Box
Photo by The Gibson – The bride had bought this gorgeous little box to place her ring in for photos. I wanted a simple, clean shot as the box and the ring speak for themselves.
Trilogy Diamond Engagement Ring
Sophie Trilogy Diamond Engagement Ring | Daniel Christopher Jewellery. Two tear-drop pear-shaped diamonds beautifully snug a centre round diamond in this wonderfully vintage style diamond ring.
In your hands
Photo by Laura Grace Photography – Symbolising their love being in their hands, this shot was set up in the grounds of the Cwrt Bleddyn Hotel in Usk
Exchanging rings at Buxted Park
Photo by Dominic Smith Photography – This photo was captured at Buxted Park Hotel in Sussex at the wedding of Heather and Kerry. I have always made a point of photographing the rings and try to link them to the couple or their venue. This location is very popular for couple photos, so I thought I would use it for capturing the bride and groom’s rings.
Ice rings
Photo by Matt Selby photography – The centrepieces were large martini glasses filled with fake snow. I thought this would make a great scene for a ring shot, so I emptied the contents of the martini glass (apart from the snow crystals) and gently placed the rings inside. I lit it with a video light, and this was the result.
Winter Wedding Rings
Photo by Tiree Dawson Photography – An in-camera double exposure taken in the last of the daylight at Stacey and Anthony’s Lakeland wedding.
Wedding Rings
Photo by Maxine Howells Photography – This photo was taken at Miskin Manor, near Llantrisant, at Jane and Tim’s wedding. At this point, I was lying face down on the floor, trying to balance the groom’s ring between the floorboards. After a few shots and a dirty top, I think I got it in the end.
Pebbles and rings
Photo by Ebourne Images – Rose and Darren’s winter wedding reception took place by the seaside in Bexhill. For their ring shot, I aimed to capture the beach atmosphere. While I couldn’t risk placing the rings on the choppy sea, positioning them on the pebbles achieved the desired effect. They were thrilled with the result.
Pave Shouldered Heart Diamond Ring
Heart Shape Diamond Engagement Ring | Daniel Christopher Jewellery. This stunning platinum engagement ring combines three rows of tightly packed pavé diamonds up the tapered shoulders leading to a single large heart diamond, held neatly in place in a four-claw setting.
Diamond Reflection
Photo by Lynne Kennedy Photography – This shot of the wedding rings and engagement ring was taken on a glass side table in the bride’s bedroom. After trying a few shots, I wanted to add some colour interest, so I placed a golden cushion at the edge of the table and used a macro lens.
The ring
Photo by Art by Design / Steve Wheller – The bride wanted something a little different for the ring shot. This was taken just outside the church.
Antique Beauty
Photo by Butterfly Photography – I just loved the reflections of this ring positioned on a glass table with window light hitting it. It was taken at Ballyseede Castle in Ireland.

Fox Rings for fox fans
Photo by Hana Laurie Alternative Wedding Photographer – Dave and Chloe’s festival wedding last year had an underlying fox theme, and I found this charming little fox ring holder in a charity shop. I knew it would be perfect for them as a gift. Dave and the groomsmen wore fox waistcoats handmade by his mum, and the decorations included fox bunting and a tiny bouquet charm. It was lush!
Kat’s rings
Photo by Mick Cookson Photography – These are Kat’s rings, photographed at The Crazy Bear in Stadhampton. During the bridal preparations for Kat and Glynne’s wedding, I spotted this funky sofa and carefully positioned the rings to achieve a more commercial feel for the shot. With some careful bounce flash, I captured what is now my favourite ring shot ever.
Ring
Photo by Samantha Pennini – Shhhhh! Ring speaking!
The Ring
Photo by Matt Guest Photography -This shot was taken at the Pheasantry Brewery, a beautiful wedding venue on the outskirts of Lincolnshire. I had just finished taking shots of the couple when I noticed the sunlight reflecting off Lauren’s wedding ring. I quickly switched to my 100mm macro lens to capture the detail of her new ring.
The Exact Moment
Photo by Aaron Storry Photography – I love an outdoor ceremony! Becky and Andrea’s wedding was bathed in gorgeous spring light. The best part was that, with a long lens, I could shoot unobstructed from 360 degrees. At the perfect moment, I was fortunate to be perched just behind Becky with a 135mm lens. I love this little detail—it’s completely unposed and something a bit different.
Green
Photo by Samie Lee photography – This ring shot was taken during the bridal prep for Morwenna and Josh’s Canterbury Cathedral wedding. I always like to place the ring somewhere different, and since the ring was green, I thought the plant was a perfect colour match.
Close up
Photo by Darren Hendry – Taken during bridal prep for a wedding in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. I used a magnifying glass to capture some major close-up details.
Natural Beauty
Photo by Kelsie Low Photography – The juxtaposition is what draws me to this image—the contrast between the super glamorous ring and the simple, natural background.
Lego of my ring
Photo by Sam & Louise – Our wonderful couple, Kelly and Tom, incorporated lots of personal touches into their day, including a love of Batman and Lego! So, when we realised they’d had themselves “Leggo-fied” (is that a word!?), as bride and Bat-Groom, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to include them in the ring shot!
Love is sweet(s)
Photo by Sam & Louise – This photo is actually quite a few years old now, but it’s still one of our very favourite ring shots! It was taken when sweet tables were still a new trend at weddings and were going down an absolute storm with the guests. They loved it! So, we decided to incorporate the sweets into a photo for our beautiful brides, Claire and Jo.
Wedding Rings
Photo by Andrei Dumitrache – Documentary Wedding Photographer – I took this photo during the groom’s preparations. He mentioned that the toy cars held great sentimental value for them, so I came up with the idea of incorporating them into a creative shot with the wedding rings.
Eternal colour and life
Photo by Wedding Footeography – I took this picture just before the wedding ceremony of Emma and Nathan Bundy in 2014. I knew them both from school when they first got together, but we lost touch, so I was really overjoyed when they asked me to photograph their wedding so many years later. For me, this photograph represents their relationship from adolescence to adulthood, full of colour and life that has carried on from school days to now.
X
Photo by Robin Ball Photography – Both Nick and Keeley had an X (the Roman numeral for 10) tattooed on their ring fingers to celebrate their 10th anniversary, which also happened to be their wedding day.
Tabitha’s Ring
Photo by Cat Lane Weddings – I was really struck by how unique Tabitha’s engagement ring was, made from rose gold with circular stone settings. I believe it was a bespoke design crafted with a family diamond — a truly beautiful piece of jewellery and a pleasure to photograph.
Bling Ring
Photo by Artem Graphe – With those vibrant purple sparkly shoes, the first thought that came to mind for this detail shot was “Gold!” So, I quickly grabbed a 5-in-1 reflector for the shoes to sit on, slipped the rings down the centre strap, and admired the sparkles!
