Hi, I’m Andy, co-founder of wedissimo. When I got married I couldn’t believe how much planning goes into a wedding, and also how frustrating the total lack of transparency was. None of our wedding suppliers would publish prices, and we had to contact loads of different suppliers just to check whether they were available for our date and location. More than anything, I couldn’t help but feel that the process was more expensive than it needed to be. If only I’d been able to browse quality professional suppliers by availability, and have clear transparent pricing the whole process would have been so much easier….so in 2023 our journey with wedissimo began!
It’s About Transparency and Making it Easy
We believe that organising your wedding should be fun. Not stressful. It should feel easy. Not complicated. You should feel empowered. Not powerless. And so we went about creating a platform that reflected those values, with transparency at the heart of it. Full transparency around pricing. Full transparency around extras (we don’t let wedding suppliers charge additional costs for travel and other expenses, the price is the price!). Full transparency about suppliers availability (we sync diaries with all our wedding suppliers to take the legwork out of checking who is available on your date), and give full transparency about which suppliers will travel to your venue (we have clever mapping software which lets our suppliers choose their own radius, so you only see suppliers available for your venue).

Did you know that most wedding directories do not perform any background checks on wedding suppliers listed on their platform? They simply sell advertising space. We vet our wedding suppliers, meeting each of them individually, and professionally reviewing their work, their testimonials and their prices. All suppliers are required to pass verification checks as part of the onboarding process, so you can book with confidence.
