What a treat I have in store for you with these whimsical wooden wedding ideas brought to us by Emily Montay and a whole host of talented wedding suppliers.
Set in the woods, two ever so stylish brides said I do against a dreamy flower arch of ombre blooms. They were surrounded by their wedding party who were also wearing fashionable outfits and accessories, swoon. They then partied outdoors at a rustic wooden table, decked out in peachy flowers, candles and stationery with festoon lights hanging from the oak tree above them. It looked so magical.
Do also keep your eyes peeled for a table runner banner, floral cake creation and a lot of fun times. So cool!

Natural elegance with a little bit of indie rock, was the vision of this golden editorial shoot.
High Billinghurst Farm in Surrey was the perfect backdrop to this rustic and whimsical shoot. The options were endless when deciding where to set up the various scenes. For the ceremony (conducted by India Bel), we decided that the wood would bring an ethereal element to the ceremony space as well as allow the incredible florals from Raven and Ryegrass to shine.
As for the dining table, the century-old oak tree provided just the right amount of cover from the setting sun in the evening and was the perfect place to hang the Edison bulbs, provided by Jim at Party Lights. The evening images are pure magic, as the sun was shining through the barn windows, creating dramatic and editorial-style lighting.

Joely, at Ambience Venue Styling Buckinghamshire brought the concept to life. The vision was understated elegance with an indie twist, allowing the beauty of the outdoor setting we were in to shine clearly. Styling included warm tones, terracottas, sage greens, as well as some ivory and black to add dimension, luxuriousness, and a little bit of rock.
She set the table beautifully to showcase the extravagant cake by Meera Makes Wedding Cakes. The Boho Shack helped with the indie elements by providing boho-chic rugs as a fun twist on a classic aisle runner.

The womenswear was provided by two extraordinarily talented start-up bridal lines, The Boho Bride and Eliza May Atelier. While The Boho Bride usually focuses on modern bohemian bridalwear, she custom-made the bridesmaids dresses specifically for this shoot and for the beautiful bridesmaids models, Laura Harwood and Brogan Hawkins. Simple in design and made out of peach silk satin, they fit in wonderfully with the warm tones of the day. You can now find made to order, adaptable bridesmaids dresses on her page.
Eliza May Atelier provided the dreamy bridal outfits which brought the essence of this shoot to life. The beautiful brides, Katie Horan and Amie Hampsheir-Gill (who are both members of the LGBTQI+ community), wore not one, but two different outfits: the ceremony dresses were whimsical and playful, whereas the evening wear was elegant and sophisticated. Even better, Eliza May Atelier is currently aiming to be 100% sustainable by using sustainable fabrics and re-wearable pieces, perfect for brides who want to keep the planet happy!

Menswear was provided by one of the most prestigious bespoke tailors, Apsley Tailors, located near the iconic Saville Row. Not only did the suits exude elegance and sophistication, but also the history and prestige of this tailors, who have been up and running for the past 130 years. The groomsmen models Basil D’Souza and Guillaume Trounson wore them perfectly.

Tying this shoot together was all of the wonderful small details and accessories. White Orchid Print and Design crafted beautifully simplistic and natural looking stationery, while Mounir Jewellery, Victoria Louise Accessories, and London Victorian Ring Co added that little bit of glitter and elegance via their accessories.
Vicky Jiggens and Hannah Heller made all of the wonderful models look glowy and natural. Last but not least, it could not have been done without the help of venue stylist and event planner, Lauren Pedge.
