When you think of blush wedding ideas, often what comes to mind is soft, pretty and classic decor. But this editorial shoot blows this concept out of the water with its modern, boho take on the blush colour scheme. I just love it all.
First up, I am over the moon to be sharing the beautiful film below by WWW member Your Story Films which really captures the essence of the day, alongside images by Hannah Brooke Photography (who was also behind the concept with Chrys Chapman MUA). From the tipi venue to the blush gown, cake and striking flowers, it is all stunning. Touches such as the neon lights and painted leather jacket add an edgy feel to this vibrant, fun and happy wedding inspiration.

Photographer Hannah Brooke and Hair and Makeup Artist Chrys Chapman were the masterminds of the shoot. Taking inspiration from the surroundings, they created a bohemian meets fresh modern edge shoot.
We took inspiration from the Leigh Hetherington dresses. Leigh’s designs embody modern boho. The wedding gown was blush with silver and white beading accentuating the bodice and detached sleeves that gave us all the delicate princess feels, with the sass and class of our dancing queen, model Sophie.

The floral and metallic details of the dress inspired the blush cake. This was complimented by an array of confectioneries, which were paired with the bespoke, floral inspired stationery.
Birdcages & Dragonflies styled the venue. The gorgeous lines of the tipis inspired our new diamond shaped arches. Taking an alternative take on rustic she integrated concrete to contrast to the stunning vibrant pink flowers and detailing on the gorgeous dresses.

Meadows & Mulberry Flowers said:
The dress was my initial inspiration. The venue setting is spectacular so I also wanted to add some luxury too but I wanted the flower decor to look as natural as possible with hints of spring.
The bouquet needed a pop of colour to create impact and to compliment the stunning dress, so the beautiful protea was a focal flower. I used a mix of anemones, ranunculus and coloured ferns to compliment the tropical flowers, soften the edges, and add to the romance.

We used two different hair accessories by Glorious by Heidi. A bespoke piece to complement the blush dress and we the Loelia Crown, a softer, modern take on the traditional tiara for our bride’s more free-spirited bridal look.
We kept the contrasts going with a delicate cathedral length veil in an unconventional blush pink to white ombre by the incredible Sash + Veil. And when the veil came off, we paired the incredible blush dress with a gorgeous hand painted blush leather jacket by The Mermaid Effect!

Chrys Chapman HMUA chose a loose, wavy half up, half down hair style with plenty of twists and texture to keep thing fun, romantic and versatile. Makeup was fresh and glowy with a soft, pink and brown smokey eye for maximum impact, and fresh pop of colour on the lip.

After our faux ceremony with celebrant Melanie Gail, we dimmed the lights, turn on the party ready neons by Love Lights the Way and cranked up the volume! DJ Mark Green graced us with tunes and our bride and groom (as well as their two very sweet girls) hit the dance floor!
This shoot embodied everything that a wedding celebration should. Fun, family and pure, unadulterated joy!
