Spectacular Fall Colours For A Pittsburgh Barn Wedding

We are in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for the striking fall wedding of Megan and Michael. The colours of the Autumn season here are unreal. The golden leaves, the low sunlight, it’s just so glorious.

Their day was inspired by Norway and they included some lovely nods to the country. Adding to the fall vibes were rich tones of red and seasonal flowers. I have to say that the barn looked especially atmospheric with the shards of light and the rustic decorations.

Look out for gorgeous outfits, amazing food and fireworks. So gorgeous.

Pittsburgh Fall Wedding

Our wedding at Pinehall was everything I had dreamed of, and more.

Planning it all through the pandemic was an added challenge we hadn’t prepared for but support from family, friends, and our vendors made it all possible.

Our theme for the wedding was Norway. My husband’s ancestors were from Norway and his family name is the name of a farming town that exists still today. I made our tables each the name of a Norwegian city, hand-made custom postcards with actual Norwegian stamps with guests names for seat placeholders, and bought our bridal party Ale Horns as a traditional Norwegian Viking drinking cup as gifts.

Our venue decorated most of the venue for us and launched fireworks at the end of our night.

My wedding dress was custom made from my inspiration by Lace and Liberty.

There was rock music, s’mores, Taylor Swift songs, and drinks flowing all night along that made it a night I’ll never forget.
