I’ve loved the trend for Anthurium wedding flowers and this sophisticated real wedding is adorned in these modern blooms.
WWW readers Eleonora and Marco held their romantic and modern wedding at Badia di San Vittore in Italy. With a minimal style, featuring whites and pinks, their day was elegant and chic. They had the most stylish outfits, candlelit tables and a showstopping cake creation. I defy you not to find inspiration here in these sensational images.
Francesca Francesca, thank you so much for sharing these joyous shots of this truly beautiful wedding story.
Marco and I met as children in 2002 (he was 12 and I 13) at the seaside, on a beach in Portorecanati where we went with our parents and had a small group of friends. In those years I took my first crush on him but it ended like this. We then lost sight of each other until 2016, when we met again in a disco in Monsano and from there we never left.
The marriage proposal was made to me on my 30th birthday (July 24, 2020). He took me out for dinner and afterwards, with the excuse of a walk on the beach (right in the place where we first met) he knelt down, he has the box that asked for the ring and asked me to marry him.

We dreamed about a big day, with our families, relatives and friends. We wanted to have a special ceremony with touching moments and a particular and unconventional reception. We love to be modern and original and we wanted to give our guests affection and gratitude to share with us our day.

Badia di San Vittore
We chose this location because as soon as we saw it it made us dream. With its centuries-old garden, the beech that covers the walls of the villa and the grove made us feel immersed in a magical atmosphere. The rooms are authentic and spartan, no glitz but just a lot of authenticity; a place of eternal time!

The ceremony was very emotional, touching and thrilling. The music is very special because our singer is fantastic!

Palette: white and pink in all its nuances – I chose particular Pantone colours with rose declination that I liked and I made the subdivision of the tables in the tableau de marriage.
We particularly love a modern and minimal style that is however sophisticated and also a little romantic and sinuous. We have based our floral decorations on a single flower; the anthurium. White for the church and pink for the reception. It was beautiful because it perfectly reflected our style. In some decorations, it was mixed with the gypsophila but no greens of any kind.
The wedding cake was thrilling! An ice cream covered by white cream perfectly smooth with a big light pink chiffon ribbon, wonderful and original.

The best choices for the wedding were been the photographers and the DUO (singer ans songer). One of the things I loved the most was the photos and they were super helpful and had really nice ways. They gave us the photos in no time with an optimal result!

I was looking for a particular dress that reflected my modern style but not cold and aseptic; being had to be refined and romantic, current and precious and Flora’s model was perfect!
Marco had a tailored suit very elegant and refined in black.

We spent many times around the area of the Baroque Sicily isle: a wonderful zone with gorgeous monuments and historical finds with excellent cuisine and landscapes. After that, we spent time at a great venue on the Dolomites where we admired unforgettable skylines!

The most beautiful memory is certainly the entrance to the church, the moment in which we met on the day of our wedding.

My advice in organising a wedding is to finish everything slightly in advance of the wedding date.
I am an example not to follow in this … I did things until the night before and I had a psychophysical breakdown on the wedding day… I made all my guests worry and “almost” melted the cake that was waiting for us for cutting.
Just sensational!
Eleonora and Marco thank you so much for sharing your modern Anthurium wedding with us.
