A Dreamy Affair: Editorial Wedding Shoot at Prestwold Hall
In the grandeur of the stunning Grade I stately home Prestwold Hall, we (Gina Fernandes & Esther Louise Triffitt) embarked on a breathtaking editorial wedding shoot that epitomized luxury and elegance. This shoot was a celebration of timeless romance and sophisticated style, featuring three distinct wedding looks, opulent florals, a show-stopping cake, and dramatic draping.

Set against the backdrop of Prestwold Hall, our venue exuded old-world charm and grandeur. Its ornate architecture and immaculate interiors provided the perfect canvas for our editorial vision.

Our goal was to showcase the versatility of wedding styles within a classic setting. From traditional elegance to modern chic, each look was carefully curated to inspire couples seeking sophistication and refinement.

The first look embodied classic romance with a soft pink gown (Bloom by Pronovias, Marchesa collection) adorned with intricate embellishments. With elevated and pinned hair to give the most elegant feminine lines to complement makeup placed to perfection to enhance the bride’s timeless beauty.
A classic black tuxedo adorned with a striking full-length lapel floral arrangement that exuded fine tradition with a modern twist for the groom.

Transitioning to a more contemporary vibe for the second look, we embraced fun party vibes with a short and sparkly Milla Nova Luv puffball dress with floor length veil and a bring lip pop.
The groom wore a relaxed greige suit jacket and skinny tie, embodying effortless charm. This look embraced a free-spirited vibe against the backdrop of the stately home’s hallways, offering a refreshing departure from traditional elegance.
We also teamed up with Calleo audio book to add to the party night vibes who supplied us with an enchanting pink telephone called Peony. With its pink hue and classic rotary design. It fit in perfectly with the vibe of mixing classic and contemporary.

For our third look we channelled sleek sophistication and modernity, featuring a billowing Pronovia (Sonia) satin gown with minimalist detailing but maximum impact with thing high split and soft sleeves with intricate button details.
With statement pearl earrings to match pearl-encrusted shoes and a peachy lip colour complementing the groom’s modern aesthetic in a sleek tuxedo with a blush velvet bow tie.

The floral arrangements featured cascading bunches of roses, coral poppies, butterfly ranunculus, spirea blossoms and lush greenery. Tablescapes were adorned with floral centrepieces in ceramic vessels, adding a touch of opulence and romance to the reception setting. The fireplace was embellished with a riot of florals, whilst delicately ornate porcelain plates sat alongside gold cutlery and fluted glassware and delicate tapered candles.
The timelessly elegant stationery suite featuring handmade paper and gold encrusted wax seals provided an opulent invitation to join the festivities. Expertly layered draping created a whole new aesthetic and space within the grandeur of the entrance porch, inspiring how to maximise the area and add even more drama to this stunning space.

No wedding is complete without a stunning cake. Our confectionery masterpiece featured intricate sugar flowers and elegant tiers, designed to complement the overall aesthetic of the shoot. It was a true centrepiece of indulgence and artistry made even more so dressed with fresh florals.

Championing cruelty-free credentials in their art, our hair and make-up team are the ultimate ‘bunnies and beauty’ advocates, delivering outstandingly beautiful looks with zero animal cruelty throughout all their products.
Taking a moment to showcase the beautiful hair and makeup skills, the shoot started by celebrating paired back styling in bridal lingerie with delicate lace and smooth satins, providing inspiration for bridal prep and the delicious moments before a wedding day fully unfolds.

Throughout the day, we worked together to capture moments of romance and sophistication against the backdrop of the stately home. Working together from inception to curate the vision and assemble the incredible team, the shoot provided a wonderful opportunity to freely create aesthetics that they hope will inspire their couples to design a day uniquely for them.
From intimate portraits to exquisite details, each photographer captured their unique view to encapsulate the essence of a dreamy wedding celebration.
