Oh, how I missed Bonfire Night last year, the glowing fire, the sparklers and the congregation of those you love merrily eating warming comfort food. So this The Old Cow Shed wedding editorial, inspired by the Autumn festivities are a welcome sight today.
Think burnt orange and blue hues, gorgeous flowers, cosy styling and impeccable attire. There really is a lot to take away from this set of images by Flashback Images, I especially love the on-trend curves of the flower arch, stationery and signage. Very cool indeed.
I can’t wait to see lots of dreamy autumnal weddings later this year, especially if they are as wonderful as this shoot was.

The shoot was inspired by the history of November – bonfire night. A colour palette of burnt orange with a hint of blue. It completely complements the warm earthy tones given by the bare brick at The Old Cow Shed.
For our first look our groom wore a simple pacific blue suit, dressed with a selection of autumn toned accessories and a simple velvet tied buttonhole to finish. Our bride wore a boho-inspired heavily laced gown, with added sleeves. Her hair was in loose waves with a floral headpiece. Makeup to a minimum with subtle warm smokey eyes and nude lips.

The tablescape was filled with the rich burnt oranges of autumn, whilst candlelight filled the open space with warmth. Beautiful textures and shapes flowing through the table dressing to the stationery. A rough-edged 3 tier cake with an elegant touch wrapped with simple florals stood out perfectly. Lisa conducted a personalised ceremony in the shed. Under a floral-filled archway.

For our second look our bride went back to make up for a bold red lip and some loosely pinned curls, a simple pearl pin to add elegance. The updo showcased the detailed back of the 2nd wedding dress. Our groom wore a checked suit with a striking floral pocket square and necktie.
This gorgeous pair strolled along the winding paths around the ground of The Old Cow Shed for some relaxed blue hour photographs. Shoes off, drink poured, lighting just so. The slip bath situated in the bridal suite was an absolute must.
