Terms & Conditions – Couples

These terms and conditions ("Terms") contain Our Agreement with You in relation to the use of the wedissimo website. By using Our Website, You agree to these Terms.

Our Role

Our Website is a marketplace, and We provide You with the ability to book Suppliers for Your wedding directly through the Website. When You book a Supplier's services, or purchase a Supplier's products, through the Website, then You have an agreement directly with the Supplier and not with wedissimo. Our role is simply that of an intermediary introducing You to the Supplier and coordinating the payment and booking of the relevant services or purchasing the relevant products.

Your Agreement with Wedding Photographers

Where you book a Supplier's services through Our Website ("Your Supplier"), You have a direct contract with Your Supplier for their provision of services to You.

Unless You agree otherwise with Your Supplier, You will not own the copyright of any images, video, or raw files that Your Supplier creates. You will own any printed or published images or video, and the rights to use any digital images for Your own personal use.

Booking Wedding Suppliers through Wedissimo

Deposit Required

22.5% of the total booking value as an advanced payment.

Remaining Balance

77.5% taken within 35 days of Your Event Date.

Refund Window

Deposit refundable for up to 30 days from booking date.

Secure Payments

Funds held in segregated client account managed by third-party gateway.

Cancellation Policy – Cancellations by You

When You book services from Your Supplier via Our Website, You accept and agree to the cancellation policy set out below.

    Cancellation Within 30 Days of Booking

    Full refund of the Deposit paid, unless Your Event Date is within 30 days.

  • 2

    Cancellation After 30 Days of Booking

    No refund of Deposit, but no obligation to pay remaining balance.

  • 3

    Cancellation Within 30 Days of Event

    No refund of Deposit or remaining balance.

  • 4

    Non-Payment of Remaining Balance

    Booking cancelled, no refund of Deposit if within 30 days of Event.

Cancellation by Your Supplier – Our Cancellation Guarantee

In the unlikely event that Your Supplier cancels Your booking, You will be offered the choice of a refund, or a replacement Supplier.

If We are unable to offer You a Replacement Supplier, You will receive a full refund plus an additional amount equal to the total booking fee as a goodwill gesture towards Your honeymoon.

Cancellations Due to Events Beyond Reasonable Control

A booking may be cancelled due to events beyond reasonable control (extreme weather, government actions, war, terrorism, epidemics, etc.). In such cases, no refund is available. However, wedissimo will use commercially reasonable endeavours to find You a replacement Supplier where possible.

User Account

You may register an account by creating a user ID or logging in via social media. Keep Your password confidential. You remain responsible for any activity on Your account arising from failure to keep Your password secure.

Disintermediation

You must not bypass the Website to conduct transactions outside the platform with wedding suppliers listed on the Website.

You may not:

  • Share personal contact details within the Website's messaging system

  • Encourage transactions outside the Website

  • Circumvent the payment methods offered

  • Communicate or negotiate terms outside the Website

Consequences of Disintermediation:

  • Warning about consequences

  • Account suspension pending investigation

  • Permanent account termination for repeated violations

  • Legal action in cases of significant harm

Your Content

You grant Us a worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, store, adapt, publish, translate and distribute Your Content. You may edit and remove Your Content where functionality is provided.

We encourage You to share Your thoughts and reviews. By contributing reviews, You agree to abide by the following:

Limitations and Exclusions of Liability

  • Our liability shall not exceed any transaction fee charged.

  • Website and services are provided on an 'as-is' basis.

  • We are not liable for any business losses.

  • Exclusions do not apply to death, personal injury, or fraud.

Indemnity

You hereby indemnify Us against any losses, damages, costs, liabilities and expenses arising from any breach of these Terms or Your use of Our Website.

Third Party Websites

We may include links to other Websites owned by third parties. We have no responsibility for such third party Websites and accept no responsibility for any loss that may arise from Your use of them.

Trademarks

"wedissimo" and the "w" logo are trademarks of Ours. You shall not use Our trademarks without our written consent.

Additional Legal Terms

Variation

We may vary these Terms at any time at our sole discretion.

Assignment

We may assign Our rights. You may not assign Your rights without Our consent.

Severability

Invalid parts don't affect the rest of these Terms.

Waiver

Not enforcing a right doesn't mean giving it up permanently.

Third Party Rights

These Terms are not intended to benefit any third party.

Entire Agreement

These Terms contain the complete agreement between You and Us.

Law and Jurisdiction

The courts in England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. The laws of England govern the interpretation of these Terms.
