I am an observer of people and I believe that people are at their best when they don’t know that they are being photographed. My favourite comment after I photograph a wedding is that they did not realise I was taking photos at the time. I get it very often. I am very good at remaining unnoticed. I am not the type of photographer that will pose you and your guests for hours – it is your wedding day to enjoy and my job to record the story of it. And the story of each wedding day is so personal so I don’t make compromises with staging the situation – just the wedding day as it happens with the entire range of emotions and events.
