Aaron's profile info

Hi, I’m Aaron, a documentary wedding photographer based on the Norfolk/Suffolk border telling real love stories with heart, humour, and zero awkward posing. I work across Norfolk, Suffolk, and beyond, capturing weddings in a way that feels natural, emotional, and completely you. Whether you're planning a big old bash or something more low-key, I’m there to catch the magic as it unfolds—unfiltered and full of joy. When I’m not chasing golden hour or dodging confetti, you’ll probably find me editing with a strong coffee in hand, hanging out with my wife and 2 dogs, or obsessing over colour palettes and old family photo albums. I’m here for the candid laughs, the happy tears, the just-married chaos—and everything in between. If you're after honest storytelling, a relaxed experience, and someone who won’t make you pose like you’re on a catalogue shoot, we might just be a perfect match.

Tell couples about your experience and approach
Hi! I'm a documentary-style wedding photographer based in Norfolk, and I've captured many love-soaked celebrations. My approach is all about real moments—no awkward posing, no cheesy smiles. Just honest, unscripted storytelling that reflects you and your day exactly as it felt. I blend in like an old friend with a camera, so you can focus on soaking up every second while I quietly document the magic.
What can couples do to get the most out of their wedding photography on the day?
Be unapologetically yourselves. Laugh too loud, cry when it hits, dance like no one’s watching. Forget about the camera—it’s my job to keep up with you, not the other way around. Also, carve out a tiny pocket of alone time just before sunset. You’ll thank me later when the light is golden and you’re buzzing with just-married energy.
Are you super chatty or will be you be a fly on the wall?
A bit of both! I’ll happily have a chat with your auntie while also being stealthy enough to catch that quiet tear you thought no one saw. I know when to gently guide and when to completely disappear into the background. It’s about reading the room and making sure your experience comes first—photos follow naturally.
What are your artistic influences?
I’m inspired by honest moments, street photography, and a little bit of indie cinema. I’m drawn to symmetry, beautiful chaos, and colour that pops—but above all, I want your gallery to feel like your day, not just look like it.
What was your favourite wedding shoot, and why?
One standout was a local rural ceremony where the couple’s dog was the parties main event. There were fairy lights strung through the trees, dancing, and zero stress. Everyone was fully present, and the love in the air was off the charts. It was raw, joyful, and a total dream to capture.
What kinds of moments are you looking to capture?
The blink-and-you-miss-it stuff. The in-between glances, the happy tears, the chaos of the confetti run. I’m always watching for connection—between you and your partner, your guests, and even the little unexpected moments that make your day truly yours.
Why should couples choose you as a photographer?
If you’re looking for someone to capture the spirit of your day without staging or fussing, that’s me. I bring good energy, sharp eyes, and a relaxed presence—someone you can trust to get it all, while you live every second of it. My goal is to hand you a gallery full of heart and soul, not just pretty pictures.
What is the most important thing to you when you photograph weddings?
Connection. I want to understand what matters to you—whether that’s making sure your grandma's smile is in every frame or quietly capturing the way your partner looks at you across the room. The photos should reflect your story, not just the schedule.
What's the most important thing couples should know about you before they book?
I’m all about keeping things relaxed, natural, and real. I’ll never make you fake a moment or say “cheese.” If you're after honest storytelling, good vibes, and someone who gets how personal this day is for you, we’ll be a great fit.
