Tell couples about your experience and approach
Why me when there are a plethora of other wedding photographers out there? I’m completely committed to being the absolute best wedding photographer I can be. I live and breathe photography and as anyone I know will tell you - I’ve had a camera around my neck since about the age of 14! I know how important getting these images is for you and that’s why I work tirelessly at every wedding to get the best possible photographs.

My style (without sounding too pretentious) I would describe as 'creative documentary'. I keep things honest and natural but photograph things using the light creatively. Every laugh, smile and tear in my portfolio is 100% genuine and that is what wedding photography is all about for me. If your wedding is fun, I want the photos to look fun! I want you to enjoy your wedding day to its full potential with minimal intrusion from me. Wedding photos have to stand the test of time so I edit all my images in a way that is not only flattering and honest to the day but should also still look great in 50 years time. Most of the day you should barely know I’m there! I work every wedding the way I would want a wedding photographer to work for me. There is a reason my whole body aches and I'm always exhausted the following day!
What can couples do to get the most out of their wedding photography on the day?
Relax as much as possible, try to forget the camera is there and just focus on each other and how much they mean to you. The best photos are when you can open yourselves up.
Are you super chatty or will be you be a fly on the wall?
Definitely more a 'fly-on-the-wall' type. I want to be capturing natural moments as much as possible and your true-selves, and I find the best way to do that is let those moments come naturally. I of course provide input if necessary, but I'm definitely not the stereotypical, loud and bossy photographer.
What are your artistic influences?
I've always been a huge lover of film, music and photography from the greats. A lot of my photography style has been influenced from these mediums.
What was your favourite wedding shoot, and why?
I don't like to pick favourites, as they're all so different, but there have been moments of magic when you're in the right place at the right time and the light is incredible. You know what you have just captured is special and you can't wait to get back to the computer to edit them!
What kinds of moments are you looking to capture?
My favourite thing is capturing moments that are impossible to replicate. When you nail the timing and capture a moment that you just know is going to be shared and looked back on for the rest of their lives. Whether it is a hilariously funny moment, a moment of pure emotion or romance, it doesn't really matter.
Why should couples choose you as a photographer?
If you want mainly documentary photography of your wedding day, but also some stunning wedding portraits - you should definitely consider me. If you want to be made to feel comfortable on your wedding day and don't want to do any cringe and uncomfortable poses - I'm your man!
What is the most important thing to you when you photograph weddings?
That my couples come away from the day with nothing but positive things to say about the experience.
What's the most important thing couples should know about you before they book?
The most important thing is that you love my photography style. Both the composition and the edit. I'm not going to edit my images like another photographer, so make sure you love the way I do it!
