My name is Courtney and I’m from the amazing city of Newcastle where I was born and raised. Although I have travelled all over the UK I am grateful to still call Newcastle my home. My journey as a photographer started at a very young age as I have spent my whole life doing art from finger painting at 5 years old to fine art and design at 17 years old. I am now at 23 years old and extremely lucky to be able turn my creativity into a full time job, as a wedding photographer. This job has introduced me to a lot of amazing people from the couples I meet to the vendors I work with. This makes me appreciate everyday as a wedding photographer and I wouldn’t change it for the world. I’m an expert in candid photography so I blend into the background and capture the true love and laughter of your wedding day. This lets you enjoy your wedding day with your guests and make the memories that will last a lifetime. Along with this, I take stunning portraits which are a perfect touch to a perfect day! Not only am I your photographer for the day but I'm also much more than that, I will go out my way to make sure your wedding day is perfect from helping with planning leading up to the day to holding your bouquet on the day. What can couples do to get the most out of their wedding photography on the day?
Trusting your photography team and getting to know them prior to your wedding will definitely help you both not only get the most out of your photographers but also make the day much more relaxed and enjoyable. This can be by arranging a pre-wedding photo shoot or even meeting them in person. This is also a great way to get to know who is going to be apart of capturing your big day which will also put any nerves you both may have at ease.
What was your favourite wedding shoot, and why?
I consider myself as a more laid back and approachable photographer
What kinds of moments are you looking to capture?
I love capturing the natural love, laughter and joy of your wedding day. These are moments like laughter and excitement of the wedding morning preparation to the wild and fun night reception showing off your best dance moves.
What is the most important thing to you when you photograph weddings?
The most important thing to me when capturing your special day is that you both and your guest are happy, comfortable and enjoying every moment. The natural joy and laughter makes the photos I capture more beautiful and unique.
