Ian's profile info

Hi, my name is Ian and I’ve been involved in making films for longer than I care to admit. I spent many years working for advertising agencies, learning from some of the best directors, camera operators and editors in the business and this is where I really learned how to tell and sell a story. I set up my own business in 2014 and have been creating videos for a diverse range of clients ever since. In mid 2022 I was asked by a family friend to film their daughter’s wedding and that, as they say, was that. Being surrounded by people enjoying a couple’s happiest day is a dream job and since then I feel I’ve developed a style that feels natural but cinematic, unobtrusive but fun and I’d love to be considered for your special day. I use high-end cinema cameras and, if requested, can supply a second camera operator for extra coverage and drone footage for a higher (see what I did there?) quality viewing experience! I work with couples before, during and after the wedding to ensure they get a film that matches their magical memories of the day.

The videographer shall perform the service in a safe, efficient was using professional equipment in good working order and deliver videos of a high quality.
The client shall outline what is expected of the videographer at the event and cooperate with the videographer to ensure this happens to their satisfaction.
The client should alert the videographer ahead of key events like bouquet throwing, confetti walks, speeches etc to give the videographer time to prepare.
