Tell couples about your experience and approach
We love a candid and unobtrusive approach to our weddings. We feel we can capture these 'natural moments' this way. Having a camera in your face will naturally make you feel on edge and anxious. We want to make everyone feel relaxed and enjoying the moment, not worrying about where that man with the camera is.
What can couples do to get the most out of their wedding photography on the day?
Couples can have a chat with us beforehand to go over any specific photos/video they want captured. For a photographer, it helps to know what is expected on the day. This is to ensure we do not miss any moments. A simple shot list is enough for us to work with.
Are you super chatty or will be you be a fly on the wall?
We can be both. We can be as involved with the day as you want, or be as much in the background as you want. Either way, this is your day.
What are your artistic influences?
Being in the film industry, my influences are Scorsese and Nolan. As for photographers, I have many influencers all over the world. Many of which have their own unique style.
What was your favourite wedding shoot, and why?
My favourite wedding shot was between the father of the bride and his father. This particular photo was more special as this was the last photo they had together. I have since been thanked for capturing that moment.
What kinds of moments are you looking to capture?
I want to capture natural shots of people enjoying themselves. These photos are great to look back on when the bride and groom get their family/friends over to watch/view the images. These images vary from beautiful emotional moments, to comical moments that only a camera can tell.
Why should couples choose you as a photographer?
I would like to see myself as a fun, quirky and creative person. This would result in great banter and some very nice images :)
What is the most important thing to you when you photograph weddings?
For me, I love capturing those 'moments'. These are the moments that will live with couples for life. Having captured them makes me feel rewarded.
What's the most important thing couples should know about you before they book?
We always go above and beyond to make sure we deliver a quality piece of work and something couples can look back on for many years.
Which venues have you worked at?
Plas Dinam
Conrah Hotel
Nanteos Mansion
Royal Naval College
Brympton House
What is your bucket list for amazing venues you’d love to work at?
I would love to film at Castell Coch in south Wales. This fairytale looking castle is perfect for a wedding.
I would also like to capture a wedding in a stadium.
