John's profile info

Hi, I’m John – a wedding DJ and host based in the South West. I work closely with couples to create celebrations that feel personal, relaxed, and full of great energy. My focus is always on playing the right music at the right time, reading the room, making sure the dancefloor feels inviting from start to finish, and most importantly helping your guests become immersed in your celebration. I also offer a few thoughtful extras like mic support for speeches, elegant lighting to suit your venue, my DSLR Photopod, and an audio guestbook so you can hold onto some lovely moments from the day, and the most popular, a shower of hazy bubbles for your first dance! Whether you're planning something big or keeping it more intimate, I’m here to help make it flow smoothly and feel like you. If that sounds like the kind of vibe you’re after, I’d love to hear from you!

Tell couples about your experience and approach
My journey into DJing and weddings began back in 2016, when I was playing small events and quickly realised how much I loved creating unforgettable moments for couples. Since then, I’ve drawn on skills from my background in IT, TV/webcasting, photography, carpentry, and farming to grow my business into a full-service wedding entertainment experience that blends music, hosting, and memorable extras - going full -time in 2022.

I’m here to help you have a wedding day that feels totally you, relaxed, fun, and full of the right energy at the right moments. I take the time to get to know you both, understand your style, and build a soundtrack that truly reflects who you are. I’m not just here to press play. I’m there to guide the day, keep things flowing, and make sure you and your guests feel completely looked after. My aim is simple: no stress, just a brilliant atmosphere and a celebration you’ll remember for all the right reasons.
What are your artistic influences?
I take alot of infuence from the growing community of professional wedding hosts & DJS all over the world, I've had the most amazing influences and mentorship leading to qualifying as a member of the Professional Emcee Association.
Why should couples choose you as their wedding DJ
There are plenty of DJs out there, but what sets me apart is how much I care about getting it right for you. No two weddings are the same, and I treat each one with fresh energy and attention to detail. I take the time to understand your taste, your guests, and the atmosphere you want to create. I don’t just hit play — I mix live, read the room, and build the energy so the dancefloor keeps moving all night. From the ceremony to the last song, I’ll make sure everything flows smoothly, sounds great, and feels like your day - not just another wedding!
What's the most important thing couples should know about you before they book?
The most important thing to know about me is that I’m a people person first. Music and tech are tools I use to bring people together, but what really drives me is making sure you and your guests feel relaxed, connected, and completely in the moment.
