As a professional, independent civil celebrant I work with couples to create and deliver beautifully bespoke ceremonies and wedding rituals. I will meet with my clients as many times as is required before the big day and my service includes as many drafts of the wedding script as is needed to ensure that it is perfect and meets the couples wishes and desires for their special day. My service also includes a rehearsal before the event if this is required, although I am also happy to perform without the rehearsal if this is what the couples wish. Its YOUR day and it needs to be done YOUR way!

- Ongoing support via meet-ups, online chats, messages or calls - including help with vows and ceremony ideas.
- My arrival at least an hour before your ceremony to set up, settle nerves and assist if needed.
- Delivery of a personal ceremony, followed by a quick photo together before I leave you to enjoy your celebrations.

From the moment you decide to work with me, you have free access to me. I’m always happy to answer your questions or just chat about weddings in general!

Together, we’ll decide on the best way to communicate (I do love to meet my couples in person if possible!). We’ll then collaborate on the right ceremony style and structure for you. I’ll also spend time gathering stories, ideas, and even what might seem like totally random bits of information — it all helps with the process!

Then off I go to write! I’ll send the script to you for review and approval. Nothing will be set in stone, and we can tweak the ceremony as much as you like. I want you to be completely happy and comfortable with it.

On the day itself, I’ll arrive nice and early to chat with other suppliers, calm any nerves, and make sure the set-up is perfect. I always bring a big supply of tissues and I’m very skilled at buttonhole positioning!

I’ll then take charge of the main event — the ceremony! At the end of the ceremony, I offer couples the opportunity to sign a commemorative certificate before sending them out to a riot of cheers and applause.

I’m also happy to stay after the ceremony to help organise guests for photographs and confetti throwing. Then, when the time is right, I’ll quietly slip away, leaving behind a wealth of memories (and a little extra something on your gift table).

We will have an initial meeting and then in the lead up to the wedding day itself, there will be periodic get togethers to ensure we are still all on the same page and nothing has been missed or left to chance.

Marriage is an institution steeped in history and tradition, but society is finally waking up to the fact that any couple is far more than just a sum of its parts. It is two unique people, becoming one, wonderfully unique couple. You are not an ‘off the peg’ couple, so why settle for an ‘off the peg’ wedding?

​Live musical tributes are very much optional but can add an extra dash of glitz to the day and of course, the choice of music is entirely up to you. Live instrumentalists can be booked in addition to live vocals, but additional charges will apply.

There’s no set script, I will write a tailored ceremony based on conversations I have with you and your partner. I will also discuss with you and develop any ideas you may want to incorporate into your renewal, or indeed anything you wished you’d done at your wedding but didn’t and want to now!

If you’ve ever dreamt about a ceremony set to the theme of the movie “Titanic”, one based on the songs of Meatloaf or would prefer something a little more akin to a traditional style of ceremony all of these ideas and more can be part of your renewal if you wish.

We will talk together and discover what sort of wedding ceremony you are looking for. I then send to you some appropriate anonymised example script ideas if you wish to use them, together with a set of questions for you to talk through together - eg "What do you particularly love about the other person" - you can never say too many nice things about each other!
I then create a first draft script, and you come to me in West London (or on Googlemeet if that is not convenient) for us to talk it through and edit it together. We can email the script to each other until you are completely happy with it.
We then hold a rehearsal - in the venue if we can, or I come to your home, with everyone involved, so we know when everyone comes in, and practice saying the poems, vows if you would like to, etc.
On the day I am always there half an hour in advance to check everyone is ready, and stay to drink a toast with you all after the ceremony, to give you both my very best wishes for the future!
