Hi, I’m Jonathan and I shoot weddings with an elegant, timeless style that broadly falls into the fine art wedding photography genre. I’ve worked as a true hybrid photographer/videographer since 2020, with a range of clients from celebrities and hair product companies to the NHS. I started shooting weddings in 2022, primarily as a videographer. I was urged by colleagues to look at wedding photography – I fell in love with it. I actually think it’s the best job in the world and it’s now an obsession. Since then I’ve been photographing luxury weddings all around the UK and beyond, including Norway and the Dordogne. I trained with some leading UK wedding photographers (the guys that shoot celebrity weddings), initially shooting for free, then being paid as a second, and then associate shooting weddings on their behalf for their clients. A the same time I began to book my own wedding clients and this makes my heart sing.

Additional to the quality and style of photography I offer and I aim to provide fantastic service, making working with me enjoyable and (whisper it) fun! As standard I have at least one pre-wedding meeting with you about a month before your wedding, I deliver your photos via a high end online gallery, through which you and anyone you share the gallery with (parents love this!) can EASILY order the highest quality prints, folios, albums and much more – directly through the gallery platform.

Your gallery will usually be a mixture of creatively shot documentary photography, beautiful group shots, and some next level portraits. The amount of posed photos is up to you. You want magazine editorial type shots with your ‘I Do Crew’? We’ll do them. You’d like a more discrete, quiet approach? I’m here for that. When you book, we’ll talk and you can tell me what does and doesn’t matter to you, so you get the type of photography – and photographer – that’s perfect for you and your day. Of course I’ll offer my experience and advice where it’s helpful!

Video Highlights Addition

At the same time as photography, I do offer the option to add a highlights video to your package. My focus is always photography first, but I have found it’s possible when shooting a whole day to also capture video clips of the best moments and to create a beautiful highlights film. I will normally try to capture audio of speeches and vows and usually include small sections of this in the video edit. Bringing the day to life for a relatively low additional cost is an increasingly popular option for couples who don’t want to rewatch all the speeches and ceremony, but would like some high quality video of the day.  You can add this option as an Extra. For half day booking this video is 2-3 mins (often a bit more but it does depend on the day).

If you wish to capture all audio from speeches, vows, ceremony etc, I can bring someone specifically to do this, who can also act as a second photographer/videographer. I can then provide you with a properly edited ‘wedding podcast’ audio recording. The cost is an additional £550.
