Your Wedding, Anywhere in Scotland. I am a legally registered Celebrant, meaning I can legally marry you anywhere in Scotland, wherever you choose. I cover all of Scotland and, with my campervan, I can travel to your chosen location — whether that’s a mountain, a castle, a beach, a loch or somewhere that simply means something special to you.

This applies to all nationalities. You complete the required legal paperwork (I will guide you through it), come to Scotland, get married — simples! 😁

It will be a pleasure to conduct your ceremony, and I’m more than happy to meet with you, either in person or via most meeting apps, such as Zoom. This gives you the opportunity to get to know me and decide if I am the right celebrant for you both.

If, after our first meeting, you decide I’m the celebrant for you, I will send you various documents to help you plan your ceremony. These will guide you through the choices available and help you decide exactly what kind of ceremony you want.

Your ceremony can be formal, relaxed, light-hearted, romantic, indoors or outdoors. You can get married on a beach, beside a loch, in a castle, in the heart of the Highlands — or even up a mountain! It is entirely your choice.

You can also choose symbolic gestures to make your ceremony even more personal, including handfasting, candle lighting, a quaich or sand ceremonies, for instance.

Most importantly, your ceremony should be about you both and your story. I will work with you to create a ceremony that reflects who you are, your relationship and the promises you want to make to each other.

So, wherever in Scotland you dream of getting married, I’ll get there. You choose the place. You choose the style. I’ll help make it your ceremony. ❤️

This is a Humanist Wedding Ceremony with additional mileage to allow for an Elopement! Full details below...

Firstly I will speak with you to get the plan. This could be a voice call or a video call. If island travel or remote locations are involved it is essential to get a grip of the logistics - and of course to find out about you and your hopes for the ceremony.

After booking I will want to meet with you, find out all about you and then create a dream wedding ceremony for you and deliver that ceremony with panache and flair on the day.

I love to chat to couples who have a few ideas about what they want - and also those who have everything planned! I have over ten years experience and whatever wedding planning stage you are at, I can really help you get this right.

For a more detailed breakdown, here is a timeline;

Pre-booking
I prefer a free Vibe-check video call to meet you and go over key details and answer any questions. (For Marriage ceremonies there is a statutory minimum of 28 days and I will need to speak to you to confirm suitability.)

Within 30 days of booking - If we have had a pre-booking video call, then I will confirm in writing within 14 days all the details.

If we have not spoken prior to booking then we will have a phone call or a video call to confirm details before a written confirmation of details can be issued.

Around 3-6 months before the wedding
90 minute planning meeting to confirm all the details.
If you are within 25 miles this is normally a home visit where I will come to your house/flat and go through everything with you.
For couples who live further away this can be a video call.

Up to 2 weeks later
Full copy of ceremony script provided.
This will be revised up to once a month with any changes or amendments required.

On the day
I will conduct a wedding ceremony wearing my kilt at your venue!

The fee includes; my time for meetings and correspondence, a donation to a humanist charity (we plant a tree for every ceremony we do) and my return mileage to your venue up to 400 miles (Which may include some islands and up to a £100 overnight stay).

The fee does not include: Statutory fees for marriage ceremonies are paid direct to the local registrar, at 2026 this is £100 (£45 x 2 for application forms and £10 for the marriage certificate.)

Your ceremony should feel as though it is being led by someone who knows you properly, with warmth, laughter and the little details that make your story yours.

This is my complete, deeply personalised ceremony experience for weddings with up to 15 guests, excluding the couple. You’ll receive the same care, preparation and personal approach as my Signature Full Story Ceremony.

I’ll take the time to understand both of you: how you met, what you love about one another, the experiences that have shaped your relationship and what this moment means to you. Together, we’ll create a ceremony that feels comfortable and natural in an intimate setting.

One of the things that makes my ceremonies distinctive is involving the people who know you best. With your agreement, I invite selected friends and family to share their memories, stories and perspectives. Their contributions often uncover brilliant stories, affectionate observations and unexpected details that bring extra warmth to the ceremony.

Contributions can come from people who won’t be attending, allowing their words and memories to be part of your day. If you’re keeping your plans private, we can build everything around what the two of you share with me.

I have used this storytelling approach in every wedding ceremony I have created, and couples have loved both the process and what it adds.

You’ll each complete an individual questionnaire before our dedicated storytelling and planning conversation. I’ll then write your ceremony from scratch, working collaboratively with you to refine it until everything feels right.

On the day, I’ll check the final details, support anyone taking part and help settle any nerves so you can enjoy the moment together.
