You will have a fantastic, modern ceremony shaped around the two of you
Your ceremony will be written just for you -no templates or re-used scripts
You will receive a beautiful commemorative wedding certificate to mark the occasion
You will either meet with your celebrant in person, if feasible, or via video call at some stage of the planning process, to run through the ceremony and ceremony elements
Your celebrant arrives one hour before your ceremony to get organised, to pop in and say hi, if you're getting ready on-site and to speak to all of those involved in the ceremony, ahead of the ceremony.
Your celebrant will have their own PA system and microphone for the ceremony.

An elopement ceremony is an intimate way of marking your marriage, with just you, your celebrant and possibly a photographer present. This could take place somewhere remote and wild, like a woodland, moor or beach, or a romantic room in a hotel, castle or country estate.

I'll work closely with you both to understand your story, and I'll guide you through the symbolic actions suitable for your ceremony. Together we'll choose things that make your heart sing and your ceremony truly memorable.

I can provide a script in advance of the day for you, or, if you're feeling adventurous, I'd encourage you to have a surprise ceremony!

I'll lead your elopement ceremony, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere to celebrate your love.

Afterwards I'll provide you with a beautifully presented copy of your script and a thoughtful wedding gift.

Relaxed commitment ceremony for couple or family. If you want to come together as a couple or family but, for whatever reason, this can't be/ you don't want this to be in marriage at this time, then a commitment ceremony is a great option. It gives you the opportunity to say what being and belonging together means to you and to represent this with a symbolic act or ritual. This ceremony is typically shorter than a full wedding ceremony and doesn't include the story or traditional vows though it may still include an exchange of rings or other tokens.

I have a free consultation to find out whether I’m in the Celebrant for you and tell you all about what I do. If you book, you will receive a booking form which, once your deposit has been received will be followed by the questionnaire to find out a little bit more about you and what you want from your wedding ceremony. When you’ve completed your questionnaire and returned it, we will set a date to get together to discuss final details and plan the ceremony. We talk about all the options, including unity ceremonies, such as handfasting, wine and sand Ceremonies etc if required, poems, personal touches etc. I’ll then write everything up and send it to you for your approval or edits. We’ll also arrange a read-through to ensure everything is accurate. If you'd prefer to receive the script in writing, this will be provided once the balance is paid, one month before the ceremony. This still allows time for any final adjustments if needed. On the day, I arrive about an hour before to prepare for the ceremony. I include a beautiful bespoke design for your commitment certificate, vow, poem booklets and keepsake script. Unity ceremonies can also be designed to coordinate. I also dress in keeping with colours and themes of your day.

Having a celebrant allows you to personalise your elopement ceremony, so every single one is entirely different and devised with you in mind. It can incorporate a range of symbolic elements to make sure it reflects your personalities and what is important to you, as well as being sincere and heartfelt. With me, I’ll have worked closely with you in the lead up to the big day to make sure it is ‘just so’ and you will have somebody who genuinely cares about you leading your ceremony. And let’s not forget…with a celebrant you can have your elopement ceremony absolutely anywhere, indoors or outside, at any time - the choice is entirely yours!

So, how does my process work? Following an initial introduction call and booking, I will email you several documents to help prepare you for the planning process - these include questions to consider for your ceremony and inspirational ideas.

A few months before your ceremony date, we will meet (preferably) in person, allowing me to find out all about you and your journey together. We will also discuss the finer details of the ceremony and how you want it to look.

Following this planning meeting, I will then draft your script and send to you for approval. It is really important to me that you are happy with your ceremony script; once you've read through this first draft, you can make suggestions of changes and amendments which I will happily edit so everything is 'just so.'

A few days before your ceremony date, we will have a catch up call to iron out any final details, ask/answer questions and I can talk you through the ceremony, easing any early nerves!

On the day, I will arrive with plenty of time to help prepare and - having delivered a beautifully heartfelt and personalised ceremony - I will leave you with a special keepsake script.
