• With over 30 years’ experience in public speaking, I am a fully trained celebrant with a diploma of excellence from ‘The Celebrant Training School’. I’m driven by the three essentials of a celebrant - words, love and music. With a background as an English lecturer, expression through language is at my heart; as a shameless romantic, I treasure the love of my nearest and dearest; and as a proud Rock Choir member, my passion for music shines through every ceremony. •I'll contact you within 24 hours of enquiry to arrange an introductory chat and arrange our initial meeting. •I'll send out a welcome pack by post or electronically if you prefer. This will include, a letter of confirmation, my service agreement, T&Cs, a questionnaire, and a brochure about the mini rituals that I offer. •We'll agree a date and time 3 months prior to the wedding to meet up, ideally at your home, or another preferred venue, or via video call. Whatever works best for you. •I'll spend at least two hours with you to get to know you, decide upon the music and reading choices and to learn about your wishes for every aspect of your ceremony •I'll guide you through selection of readings or poems, the inclusion of family and friends, and of course your vows and promises •After the meeting, I will promptly email you the draft order of service, then get to work on writing. •I'll write a ceremony and love story which feels uniquely personal and fitting for you, your values, beliefs and personality. I'll share this and the love story with you to check details. •If you choose a package which includes a rehearsal, we will arrange and carry this out, so that you feel completely prepared and reassured for the big day. •On the day, I'll be with you an hour before and put you at your ease - you'll be in safe hands!

What do you love most about being a celebrant?
What I love most about being a celebrant is that it gives me the chance to meet lovely people, hear their wonderful stories, and work hand-in-hand with them to create ceremonies that are unique, heartfelt, and a true reflection of who they are. This role is such a privilege,  and the feeling of satisfaction of creating a ceremony that feels ‘just right’, is incredible.
Do you specialise in any particular types of ceremonies (religious, spiritual, humanist, themed, etc.)?
As an independent celebrant, I am completely flexible and free to blend any combinations that feel right for you. For example, if you want predominantly a non-religious ceremony, but would like a small nod to religion in the shape of a piece of faith based music, a hymn or a religious reading, nothing is off-limits.
If you would like a mini ritual that is personal to you or maybe to weave in a cultural feature, no problem. It's your special day and it's only right that you have it exactly your way.
What's the most important thing couples should know about you before they book?
It's going to be a great team effort! 
We will work together to create a celebrant-led ceremony that will be completely unique for you. Collaboratively, we will craft your beautiful love story, your personalised vows and promises, and any special elements that you wish for to make it perfect. 
Before you book me, please do be aware that the legal side of your marriage will need to be arranged separately. If you're getting legally married abroad, great! If your option is a registrar here at home, you have to give them 30 days notice, then book them to get your 'legals' done, as and when you wish. 
Whether it's before or after the "legals', on your BIG day, you'll have your gorgeous, unforgettable wedding ceremony with me!

I have two packages currently on offer to couples, each with the added option of a rehearsal. This offers a range of 4 price-point options.
