Louise G's profile info

I have been a celebrant for 9 years and before that I was a professional singer so I have lots of experience and transferable skills. I am highly organised, very creative and go above and beyond to create a beautiful, meaningful ceremony with just enough humour to help people relax. I pride myself in the finishing touches like Co-ordinating my outfits to suit the style/themes of the occasion and bringing everything together. Vow booklets, certificates, keepsake scripts and unity ceremonies are all personally designed with you in mind.

What do you love most about being a celebrant?
I love the challenge of creating ceremonies truly reflect what a couple is all about. I enjoy meeting different people and working in all kinds of different venues and even other countries. I’ve been known to hand paint stationary, write  poems and songs, devise unique unity ceremonies and even lead the odd mutiny. Having ADHD I think outside the box and connect well with people who can’t help but be highly individual.
Do you specialise in any particular types of ceremonies (religious, spiritual, humanist, themed, etc.)?
I love traditional weddings as much as the less conventional ones but I really in my happy place when taking on a role. Particularly if there’s an anarchy involved. Think marauding pirates and Peaky Blinders or Gothic witch and you’ll be getting some idea of what I’m capable of. But whatever I do, even if I’m having the wildest fun, my ceremonies are always  balanced with meaningful, sincere moments that you will treasure forever.
