Stephen's profile info
Over the years, I’ve had the absolute pleasure of crafting and leading ceremonies that are bursting with love, laughter, and just the right amount of emotional chaos. From sunlit gardens in the UK to beaches abroad, I’ve helped couples tie the knot in ways that feel true to them—completely personal, completely joyful, and absolutely unforgettable.
I don’t do copy and paste ceremonies. I do ‘your’ ceremony. Whether you want your love story told with tears, giggles, or a cheeky reference to that dodgy first date, I’m here for it. I’ll spend time getting to know you, digging into your story, and writing a script that feels like it couldn’t belong to anyone else. Expect warmth, humour, a few happy tears (yours and mine), and a ceremony that leaves your guests saying, ‘That was so ‘them’.
This September, I’ll be jetting off to the beautiful Greek island of Skiathos to lead a sun-drenched wedding for an incredible couple I’ve come to adore. They met during police training, got engaged on a hike, and are bringing a two year old and a violinist along for the ride. It’s going to be emotional, fun, a little bit chaotic—and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
So, if you’re after a modern celebrant who brings humour and heart (and possibly a neck fan for destination weddings), I’d be honoured to help you start your next chapter in style.

What do you love most about being a celebrant?
The truth is, I love absolutely everything about being a Celebrant. If I had to choose one thing? It’s standing right there, in that split-second moment when two people lock eyes, take a deep breath, and realise: This is really happening.
I get a front-row seat to something extraordinary—not just the vows or the rings, but the spark of two people saying yes to a shared life, in all its glorious, chaotic, wonderful mess.
Being a celebrant isn’t about repeating generic lines or sticking to a tired old script. It’s about getting to know you. Your quirks, your story, your kind of humour. I take all that good stuff—the meet at a Tesco petrol station, the dog that nearly ruined the proposal, the way you both cry at Bake Off—and I craft it into a ceremony that feels unmistakably you.
Whether you're dreaming of a barefoot beach ceremony, a back-garden celebration with fairy lights and fire pits, or a black-tie affair with a twist, I bring humour, heart, and just the right amount of emotional chaos to make it unforgettable.
So, what do I love most? The laughter, the love, the storytelling—and the absolute honour of helping couples kick off their marriage in a way that’s real, relaxed, and completely their own.
Do you specialise in any particular types of ceremonies (religious, spiritual, humanist, themed, etc.)?
I’m proud to create and conduct ceremonies that reflect your beliefs, values, and style—whether that’s humanist, spiritual-but-not-religious, fully themed, or a beautiful blend of everything in between. I’ve worked with couples who want a quiet nod to nature, families who cherish spiritual traditions, and free spirits who just want to get married in a wizard’s cloak or surrounded by sunflowers. There are no rules—just the chance to design something meaningful, personal, and completely true to who you are. If it matters to you, it matters to me.
