Tell couples about your experience and approach
My name is Adrian and I have been photographing weddings for more than twenty five years.

I am a member of Fearless Photographers, a directory of the worlds best photographers, a 2024 Bridebook Silver Award winner and am listed in last years Masters of Wedding Photography Top Ten list of UK Wedding Photographers ......... well that is the uncomfortable bragging bit over.....now a bit about my style of photography.

My style is mainly ' fly on the wall ' documentary with a little ' street photography vibe ' and I hope a sense of humour too. I like take natural images that document the moods and emotions of the day as they happen rather than with any forced staged photography.

Although the day is photographed in a documentary style most couples like to have a few shots together. I don't like cringy poses or lots of faff so these are pretty relaxed and don't take long which keeps the day moving along without the photography getting in the way too much.

I photographed weddings on film for many years and although I now shoot digitally I like to edit the images to have a ' shot on film look ' with the contrast and grain of classic black + white films such as Kodak Tri-X and ektar and kodak gold for true to film colour images.

I photograph most wedding days from brides preparations through to the early part of the dancing at the evening reception although half day bookings are also welcome.

Ready to print high resolution images are supplied on a boxed USB stick, there are usually around 350 + images in the final edit.

Albums and prints are available and an online gallery is included for your friends and family to view the wedding day photos.

I hope that is helpful, if you would like any more info just let me know it would be lovely to hear from you.
What can couples do to get the most out of their wedding photography on the day?
Just be yourselves.................
Are you super chatty or will be you be a fly on the wall?
I'd hope to come over as a warm friendly person without really trying to be too noticible to everyone.......I like people around me to relax and enjoy the day.
What are your artistic influences?
I love the work of photographers who catch a moment in time such as Robert Doisneau, Henri Cartier-Bressson and Willy Ronis...........Black and white too is something special
What was your favourite wedding shoot, and why?
My favourite shoot is always the one I am doing that day !!
What kinds of moments are you looking to capture?
I love to photograph the real emotions of a wedding day, the tears ........ the smiles and the funny unexpected things, there are so many moods and textures to photograph on a wedding day, I try to show consideration, empathy and a sense of humour in my creating my images.
