Tell couples about your experience and approach
I have been photographing people and weddings since 2008, I love photographing people so weddings is a perfect fit. I imagine to make people feel comfortable around photography so try to emphasise a natural and relaxed approach.  I would love to photograph more documentary style weddings in the future.
What can couples do to get the most out of their wedding photography on the day?
It really helps to have a clear idea of what you would like from your photographer - do you want to have couple portraits - how much time can you give for this.  I prepare and communicate with all my couples so that I have a fair idea on what they want on their big day - of course I remain as flexible as possible as weddings don't always run to plan.
Are you super chatty or will be you be a fly on the wall?
This very much depends on what my couples want for their photography.  I am naturally socialable and inquisitive but fully understand the importance of 'melting into the background' to really true candid and natural moments.
What kinds of moments are you looking to capture?
True emotions, natural and unforced reactions. Tender and raw moments throughout the day.
Why should couples choose you as a photographer?
I have the same level of enthusiasm today as I did when I first started. I absolutely love photographing weddings and getting to know my couples.  My biggest aim is for your photography to be a highlight of your wedding day and not just a requirement!!
What is the most important thing to you when you photograph weddings?
I want the photography part of the wedding day to be one of the highlights for the couple and guests.
Which venues have you worked at?
I have worked at the majority of venues in the north of England including Runa Farm, Lartington Hall, Newton Hall, Charlton Hall, Ellingham Hall, Woodhill Hall, Branxholme park, Ramside Hall, Hardwick Hall Hotel, Bowburn Hall, Woodstock Weddings, Healy Barn, Derwent Manor, Eden Grange, Wyresdale Park, Allerton Castle, Owton Manor, Danby Castle Barn, Rushpool Hall, Whitby Registry office, Skelton mill, Headlam Hall, Walworth Castle, Durham Castle, St Chads Durham
What is your bucket list for amazing venues you’d love to work at?
Grantley Hall and Middleton Lodge are the two venues which I have yet to experience and photograph.
