Tell couples about your experience and approach
You can expect mostly very candid images.  Over the last 16 years or so, I've learned how to pretty much fade into the background at weddings.  No-one's looking at me anyway, so it's easier than you might think!  I'm always chasing emotion - fleeting glances, the obvious smiles and laughter, the less obvious deep, hidden feelings which come to the fore at a wedding.

Without blowing my own trumpet too hard, I'm definitely at a point where I don't have to think about my kit at all.  Strong backlight, heavy shadows, low light...  I've worked in every conceivable lighting situation from huge, bright orange ballrooms to (literally!) a cave lit by candles.  This innate knowledge leaves me free to concentrate on the people, the feelings and emotions; composition and light.  Which means you get beautifully lit and composed, thoughtful and thought-provoking images of your wedding day.  Not just a record of who was there and what they did, but a set of images telling real stories with a sense of what the day was like.  It means you and your guests will look as good as possible!

I do process each and every image individually.  I only take on about 20/25 weddings a year now, so I have the luxury of being able to give each one a lot of my time and energy.  My galleries typically contain about 30% black and white images.
